Scales

Sooo doing exactly what I know I should not be doing.... Weighing myself daily! First day on plan lost 1kg... Now since wed have stuck at same weight and becoming really frustrated!! I know I know I should not be doing this but by end of mon that will be week over and if scales don't change that's gona be a rubbish loss even sticking to plan 100%!!

Can someone offer me some moral support? If stats same Tomo think I'm gona cry! It's also totm so not sure if this makes any diff?

Thanks muchly in advance! X

Totm does seem to make a difference to weight losses here. And I've seen several people say that they've stuck all week then suddenly dropped on weigh in day so don't panic yet.

I know you know it already but don't weigh every day. I think the reward of stepping on the scales and losing three or four pounds is so much better than getting on every day and seeing a minus 0.5...... I also know that I have had to work pretty hard this morning to stop myself getting on the scales - so much easier said than done!

Good luck babe.

If you've stuck to the plan 100% honestly, and got enough water inside you, then you WILL lose weight. The trouble with our bodies is that they don't tend to work to a neat weekly schedule that allows us to see consistent progress through each day. I'm a scale addict too, which is great when it's going down, but just plain awful when it's not budging. I'm also someone who's lost 2lb overnight to take me into the morning of weigh day. And I'm someone who likes to keep a hold of all the fluid I can lay my hands on at TOTM, it comes off, just keep drinking :)

Don't feel down! As noodles says if you've stuck to the plan you will have burnt fat - the great things with a VLCD is there's no way to stick to it and not lose weight! I read somewhere on here that what can happen is as fat cells empty they temporarily fill with water (maybe more on totm?) and then after a few days they finally give in... then its whoosh, weight gone! Keep the faith and you'll see the results soon!
