Going to start Slimming World this week never done any kind of proper diet in my life............but so need to loose weight and go for the full lifestyle change .....fed up of being overweight so I am going to try my best ............xx

Good Luck! I started last Monday at class, so first weigh in later today! I have found this site an absolute godsend, I am sure you will too:D
 
Hi welcome along.

For an absolute beginner I have 3 tips to help you once you get all your material from class. READ, PLAN and WRITE. (this will all make sense).

I have been doing this since April and though lots of it is now in my head I still write a food diary every single day. It really does help to see what you've eaten and helps to judge if you've been able to consume the 1/3 superfree and keep track of your syns (and is an essential part of the diet for the first few weeks anyway as your consultant will want to check your food diaries to give you feedback). Although you don't have to do it after a few weeks I really do think going back through your books, looking on this site, planning all your meals and having everything written down will stand you in good stead.

Trust in the plan (everyone asks the same question - can I really eat this much and lose weight? - Yes you can) the plan works if you follow it.

Just remember, this is NOT a diet, it's a new way of life!
Try to play a weeks menu, only buy the ingredients for these meals (this stops you buying rubbish), keep a food diary for yourself & the consultant, this way if you have a problem someone can look at it & advise.
Yes! you will be eating a lot more food, Yes! you will loose weight. It does work, just look at my pics!
