Hi all I have been thinking of starting on the shakes today, how you all doing and what snacks and evening meals do you have
 
Hey Louise!

Did you start the shakes?
I've been on the shakes for 4 weeks now and I've lost 11lbs so far. I am finding I'm picking more between shakes and I think this has slowed my losses down a little (only lost 1lb last week) but as long as it's coming off I don't mind how slow! I know if I cheat then I don't lose as much/anything so I have to be true to myself.

I have whatever i fancy mealwise but just make sure its within the cals. Im trying to stick to high protein and low fat as it suits my reflux better.

Im actually coming back to SF after losing 3st 7lbs with a VLCD but have used SF in the past.

I'm doing really well (I think!) and haven't felt hungry but you DO have to make sure you have your snacks :)


Like Loser85 I tend to eat what the rest of the family are eating but stick to 600 cals. Even if that means Pizza night, I just eat 1/4 of the pizza and salad as opposed to ALL the pizza like I would have before :eek:
At the start I kept the carbs down too but I really missed them.

- Well done on your loss, it's fantastic! Which plan did you follow and it what space of time did you lose? (I'm contemplating a VCLD in the new year to bllitz the weight and then work on maintaning).
 
I used Exante to begin with then started to use Slim&Save bars in the evenings a few weeks in. It took me around 10 weeks to lose that amount but i couldnt go any further with it. Started craving allsorts so knew it was time to stop. Imo Exante is more filling but the Slim&Save mealpacks are a lifesaver at times.

Snackwise Louise im having an alpen light bar first thing, WW soup or crispbreads with laughing cow light and last snack i tend to have snack a jacks.
