Does anyone know if these stall?

I bought these about 6 months ago but have been afraid to have them in case they stall me...

They expire next month so I'm planning on having them today...!!!

Hi Di, they shouldn't do as almost pure fibre so nothing to stall on:D

Thanks Katie... They made a very welcome change! Different texture and needing to chew all helps! Xx

You might find youre up a little tomorrow - it's just because they're pure fibre so they're heavy and absorb looooots of water - but it goes after about a day and usually takes a bit extra with it!

Spot on ML!! Lol ... I'm up 2 this morning... Good to know there's a logical reason... Thank you xx

Just opened a pack that expires in June and OMG -come to mama my little shirataki!!

They have definitely sorted the fishy odor, it's gone. Last time I had these over a year ago, I couldn't get through them for the fishyness.

I then sauteed cabbage, prawns garlic and coriander and finished with butter and soy sauce. The other half pack I put with garlic, cream, cream cheese and parmesan. They were awesome. I wish I didn't know how good they are now. If I could eventually have these a couple times a week my pasta craving would be gone. Imagine with a bit of peanut butter, lime juice, lemongrass and coriander for a little Thai shirataki. The possibilities are endless.

They are feeling a little heavy in my tum at the moment, but it's got to be better than a big plate of pasta. Probably because I ate them so fast lol.

Haha come to mama my little shirataki. I love it.

I find them super filling - usually only manage half a pack, but they keep fine in the fridge overnight and if you've done them in a broth the flavor intensifies. The day after eating I'm always up in weight slightly as they're pure fibre but then it goes.

They're called the broomstick of the bowels in japan because they sweep you out!

Ooh I could do with a broomstick of the bowels, are they from lcm? Love the idea of a carbonara dish! Drooling already :)

Have come to the conclusion that I have no will power and have an appetite the size of Alaska!

I can't eat things that are too yummy as I can't stop til it's all gone - so can't risk having them too often! I must learn to curb my appetite lol

I'm loving the broomstick of the bowels ML. Must read about that.

They are so delish Sandra and I did get them from the lcm.

I'm the same Di, a huge appetite and had no problem finishing off the whole pack. But now that I know they keep in fridge will maybe try just half pack next time.

x
