Slim for the summer??

I'm new to this site, just started Following SW 3 weeks ago and lost 4lbs, which didn't seem great at first. But when I checked out my predicted progress I could get to near where I want to be by July, give or take a few weeks for my hols ?

I'm following extra easy as that's what I was basically told to do.

Breakfast: mullerlight - mint (all I have left)
Superfree: strawberries n kiwis

Lunch: smoked salmon n crabsticks
Superfree: lettuce tomatoes n speed soup

Dinner: fried rice (fry light) with chicken
Super free: mushrooms, onions and peppers

Snacks: walkers French fries (4) & a Treat size crunchie 16g (4) 2 slice nimble (Hexb) with 4 dairylea light (hexa)

I was told to use 10 syns a day but I'm finding this hard and I'm forcing myself to have something to make up the syns. Not sure that's right??
 
Ok, so day2 now, have got some more speed soup for lunch today but have cut back on my fruit don't want to have any tummy/toilet issues (tmi sorry) as has happened before. ?

Dinner: going to my mums tonight so not sure yet but my mum is supporting me so much that I know it will be something prob free n obviously 1/3 super free

Snacks: walkers French fries (4)
Vodka soda and lime (4.5)

Today should be easy to get through as I work on a Thursday and I've found with SW I'm not sitting at my desk constantly thinking about my next meal.

Dinner has been confirmed as salmon for dinner with boiled rice mixed with mushroom onion peppers ? didn't have the heart to say I had salmon for lunch ?, it's all good though.

Fab day so far drinking lots and have resisted the constant " do you want a wee biscuit with your coffee"
 
Day 3, Friday. The start of my weekend so I always experiment with cooking something new. Decided to try out curry n pakora tonight, yummy yummy.

Breakfast:
Mullerlight (f) plum (sf)

Lunch:
Homemade vegetable soup (sf)
2 whole meal nimble (Hexb)
4 dairylea light (hexa)
Lettuce (sf) and spring onions (sf)

Dinner:
SW chicken tikka (f)
SW spicy veg pakora (f)
Basmati rice (f)

Curry n pakora were gorgeous, can't believe they were free. Now enjoying a couple of voddies n red bull :) 5 syns.
 
GM!

Ended up having 2 voddies as planned but also 2 packets of French fries so that was a total of 13 syns last night.

As its a Saturday thought I would have something different for breakfast. Still not 100% sure for dinner either, will have a think n pop back to do my diary. Chow for now :p

Breakfast:
2 whole meal nimble (Hexb)
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup (1)
2 bacon medallions ( free)
Slice watermelon

Lunch:
Speed soup

Dinner: going for the same as last night but using turkey instead of chicken
SW tikka masala (f)
SW spicy veg pakora (f)
Basmati rice (f)

Will have a snack of wafer thin ham spread with 4 dairylea light n spring onions - free and hexa

Assuming no 1/3 super free is required with dinner as there is veg in the pakora n some in the curry????
 
Not had a chance to update today, busy busy busy, lol.

Mushroom omelette using 2 eggs(f) and mushrooms (obviously!) (sf)

Lunch:

2 whole meal nimble (hexb)

Roast beef (f) no fat
Boiled potatoes (f)
Carrots (sf)
Sprouts (sf)

Marks n Spencer's meringue nest (2.5)
Tinned mandarins in syrup (3) just can't do tinned fruit in juice!

Snacks: treatsize curly wurly (3.5)

Ggrrrrr loaded with the cold, can't taste anything and don't feel like eating much. On top of that my wee man has got a viral infection :-(. Not to worry though, weigh in tomorrow, still trying to think positive, however I only seem to lose 1lb a week with exercise and I've done nothing this week!

Today's diary

Breakfast:
Activia 0% fat cherry yoghurt (1/2)
Watermelon (SF)

Lunch:
Homemade veg soup with lentils n stock cube (f)
More watermelon (SF)

Dinner:
2 pork medallions
Mashed potatoes with spring onions, mashed with 2 dairylea light triangles (1/2 hexa)
onions and peppers (sf)

Snacks:
Strawberries (sf)
French fries (4)

Fingers crossed for wi tomorrow :)
 
Well didn't get a minute yesterday to post, but anyhoo important things first, weigh in last night, 2lbs off :) :) :)

I'm really happy with this considering this is my "*" week too and there was very little body magic going on.

That's me done 6lbs in 4 weeks and my bmi is now 26.80, so it's coming down I know from looking on here that people can lose almost a stone in this time but I'm really happy with this as I've heard if you lose it slowly there is a better chance it will stay off.

I am so motivated for this week now as I want another 2 off to help me get my first 1/2 stone award :) :) :)

Wednesday again so working today 9-5 in the office today. I'm still feeling really good about last nights weight loss do I'm ready for anything today, lol.

Cherry 0% fat free activist yoghurt 125g (1/2)
Strawberries

Lunch:
2 nimble wholemeal (Hexb)
4 dairylea light triangles (hexa)
Smoked salmon (f)
Prawns (f)
Lettuce (sf)
Melon (sf)

Dinners undecided as yet as likely be heading to my mums, as always though it will be something good, will update later.

Snacks:
Walkers French fries (4)
Pear (sf)

I work on the 4th floor of my building and we don't have access to the other floors so if I take the stairs you either go to the top or back down. Going to attempt them first thing and at lunchtime, if I don't post later then you'll know I didn't make it lol and I'm probably in a crumpled heap at the bottom :-0
 
Your diaries really interesting to read! its very similiar to mine, i'm assuming that you do not have a lot of weight to lose like me (about 1 and a half stone) as i am also finding that i lose small amount each week, i have lost 8.5 lbs in 7 weeks.

Like you said previously i set myself 10 syns on extra easy and feel like i need to eat something to make them up, which is really strange as i thought i'd have no problems.

Its really nice to read a diary that doesnt seem to have slip ups all the time! I'm finding reading some others that people dont seem to be really into it so its a refreshing change :) x
 
Aww thanks, I'm really pleased that someone reads it, lol. Yeah I've got around 1.5 to 2 stone to lose so I know it will be small amounts each week but they say it will stay off better that way, do here's hoping.

Good luck on your journey, I know what you mean about some of the diaries they seem to have gone on for years with no significant results but others are interesting. I'm personally wanting this weight shifted by the summer, lol :)

I think lots of people are reading but no one ever leaves comments lol, well at least thats what mines like.

My goal is my holiday in june and then after that i'm a Bridesmaid at my cousins wedding so its all about maintaining, which i hope isnt too difficult!

I get some great recipe ideas but now i've got the hang of it I just seem to adapt what i used to eat before and eat less of it, so i havent really been trying that many new things :)
 
Thanks for reading, I keep posting just to keep myself right and saves me boring my hubby with it all:p, lol.

Ended up again not eating my syns (maybe :p). Forgot to take my french fries to work, however had chicken (no skin) with smart price savoury rice (1/2) and mushrooms. Also had about 5 chips that had been made in a fryer:eek: so goodness knows how many syns that could have been, although I'm pretty sure 5 wee chips won't do any damage.:479:

Darn, some of the smilies you can use on the pc don't transfer to iPhone or iPad, some comments look daft now ! That's all I came on to check lol. X x
 
Good morning, well hopefully it'll stay dry today as I've got scaffolding up to get my back wall re rendered n they can't do it if it rains.

On a plus side we got a letter in yesterday from a compensation company offering to help us get compensation (no win no fee of course) from the electricity company cause the wires cross over our boundaries. I've never heard of this but apparently there can be a few thousand in it if they win!!! Fantastic, however knowing my luck they'll probably tell us we owe them money for having our house under them!

Anyhoo I digress back to the important matters in hand. Dinner this is unknown again, lack of being organised cause I'm going to get my iPhone upgrade after work so not sure if we're eating at home or at my mums. My mum watches my wee fella when I'm at work, just incase you're wondering how we're always there.

okay dokey, so proud of myself today, a colleague of mine who goes to weightwatchers brought in 2 huge bags of crisps and dips for everyone to share at lunchtime - she was going to her wi but then realised she "forgot" her pass! Anyhoo I had none, not even a smidgeon of a crisp. Some of my colleagues couldn't actually believe how good I was cause I loooove crisps n dips.

So dinner was at my mums after a disaster trying to upgrade my iphone at carphone warehouse, thus why I am on the laptop at the moment. Not getting my new phone till Saturday now :(

Had a pork chop at my mums with mushrooms and boiled rice. She made one of those part baked baguettes and at first I thought there was garlic butter on it and nearly ate it, when I realised it was plain to butter yourself I once again resisted, so very happy happy.

No usual Thursday night power walk due to having to re install everything on my iphone but will get a Davina work out done in the morning when I come back from Nursery.

Only thing really to add then today would be my vodka soda and lime I had at 5 Syns.

Good morning, was having a look through some different threads here last night and found one on the discussion of excercise =weight gain. Now, I'm not talking about muscle density or volume of, just generally those that seem to excercise have weight gains. 2 weeks out of my 4 I have had 1lb losses, both these weeks I made a point of doing specific cardio workouts for 30 mins to an hour each 3 or 4 times a day. Last week I lost 2lbs only did 1 power walk for about 30 mins. This has left be with a big issue do I excercise now or not!
 
Ok went with no exercise for no other reason than I couldn't be bothered, I could kid mysf it's for the reasons above but I'd just be lying to myself! Quick post just to confirm my diary for today. Note there was no hexa but this is just one of those things.

Watermelon (SF)

Lunch:
Home made veg soup (SF)
