Slimming World Newbie Food Diary

Newbie Alert! :sign0144: Ok so this is my 6th day on the SW plan - i'm just doing EE - seeing if the weight comes off, if not - may have to rethink. Putting my food diary on here will give me added incentive to be good - even if no one reads it:p. I'll just start with today.

Breakfast - Bacon Medallions - the cat is loving all the trimming of fat i'm doing, he gets them all as treats - he might have to join me on a diet if i'm not careful:D. 1 piece w/m toast, Grilled tomato and a banana.
Lunch - Crab Stick Salad - with little gem lettuce, Total 0% mixed with some cucumber and mint - more cucumber, tomatoes and new potatoes.
Dinner will be - Grilled chicken breast, roasted peppers, basmati rice and more 0% with cucumber garlic and mint .& salad
I've got a toffee muller light in the freezer which i'll have this evening with my favourite curly wurly.
I also blustered through the new Davina workout. I kind of did my own version when I couldn't quite match their moves but I didn't stop moving once, even if I was purple by the end of it!:banana dancer:

Thanks! Weigh in is on Tuesday, i've stuck rigidly to the plan but not expecting a big loss - I'm hoping for 2lb a week and not much more really. We're just going to tuck into a SW friendly brunch for a family birthday, looks yum if I do say so myself - and then for a long seafront walk. Good luck Nellylou! x
 
Sunday Brunch - 11:30am (after a later than usual lie in - Thanks kids)

The whole family tucked into Quorn Sausages, Bacon Medallions, Grilled Toms and dry fried new pots - no complaints and everyone felt better for it than after a greasy fry up.

Dinner - Grilled chicken breast, baked potato with Total yog and carrots.

Was rushing about all day and didn't have my HEXs, although didn't forget to take my curly wurly with me when we went to see a show yesterday evening at local theatre.:p

Today
Breakfast Vanilla Muller Light, melon and banana with milky coffee.

Snacks - carrot sticks

Lunch - Grilled chicken, tomatoes, plain cous cous.

Dinner - omelette with ham, tomato & peas and jacket potato and cucumber.

Need to work on getting my HEXs into breakfast rather than feeling like I need to squeeze them in later in the day.

I also love love love cooking and the food I am eating at the moment is so boring to prepare - I'm enjoying eating it but missing 'whipping up a treat' style cooking I used to enjoy so much - need to start looking into some more exciting and advanced SW recipes I think.

Just about to try a frozen toffee muller light in the garden for the last of the sun,:cool:.x
