Ahhh god I'm in tears over something so stupid! My bf broke my new whisk I'd bought to make my soups and shakes that arrived today and I used once!! I'm so upset because I was really struggling to make them and drink them without a whisk so I drove 15 mins home today on my lunch after it arrived so I didn't have to drink another lumpy shake coz they were making me gag! then thus evening he broke it by dropping it on the floor and tried to fix it by pulling it apart! Not only have we got no money to buy another one but now I have to drink lumpy shakes an I burst out crying, and haven't stopped!

After my awful week at work being shouted at all the time and living so far away from my family and friends is hard enough! I just was so excited to do this diet and keep Mykonos focused on losing weight and not the other awful thing my life has right now so I just feel devastated he's broke my whisk knowing how important it was and that we literally have no money to replace it!

Dunno if I can do this diet with lumpy yucky packs so I'm feeling like he's ruined it for me I'm so upset! Dramatic? Maybe but I can't believe it! Ahhhh dunno I can't stop cryin coz if everything, think this was breaking point

Oh poppy, I think cos you've been having a hard time lately its all come out at once. Don't let this stop you doing the diet though, if you mix the packs bit by bit with a fork or normal whisk does that help with the lumpy bits?

Sometimes a good cry can help clear the air, or your head.
I'm sure he didnt break it on purpose, and by pulling it apart, was he not trying to fix it ?
As ali28 says, mix up little by little it will get rid of the lumps.
Please dont stop the diet. I think you will feel so much better when you have had your first WI.
It really is worth it Poppy, but you do have to stick with it

Hey Poppy

Chin up lovely - this time will pass soon ;-) I don't have my packs as shakes I make them into a mousse consistency, can't stomach them as shakes - perhaps try that?? Just gradually add cold water and mix with a spoon until you get a 'stiff angel delight' consistency ..... Might avoid the lumpy shakes for a while??

Having another awful day at work today i hope the afternoon is better. Looking forward to two days off thank goodness! Thank for all the replies just so emotional over the sillest things

I know you said you didn't have much money but I use the value hand blender from Tesco and it's only £4.50. It's the best thing I ever bought. It needs plugged in but it's fairly light.

I gag from the lumps too...it's the worst thing ever!
