Jo and I have been looking today at static caravans a little up the coast as a "getaway" for weekends when we have some peace and quiet. We have debated between a boat on the broads or a caravan.
Anyway have been put off the caravan as although we can stretch to the 15k for the caravan the site fees are between 3 and 4 thousand a year for any of the sites locally which is 300 quid a month and that puts me right off!
So wondered if anyone has a boat on the Norfolk Broads or a motor boat anywhere and what they usually pay for mooring as again I can afford the 15k for the boat but wondered what the real running costs were!
