I forgot to mention earlier that since I have started LT I have been so cold, socks, PJ's quilt, throw and heating on, is this normal???

Yes. Very normal. One of the first signs that you are in ketosis :clap: Well done and wrap up warm

Karion, well done on your weight loss and thanks for the advice. Daisyhappy only day two so probably not ketosis and just some form of detox on your system, drink plenty water.

You could be in ketosis if you did some 'prep' (cutting down on carbs) before you started the diet. As said before, make sure you are drinking enough as a dark result sometimes means you are dehydrated

Didn't do ANY prep for it either, quite the opposite actually!

Teehee. I remember the feeling. Probably a false reading then. My ketostix never once showed me to be in ketosis. Fat lot of good they were to me

It usually takes about 3 or 4 days to get in ketosis. On the subject of pee...mine is like water!! I'm drinking 5 litres a day and I think it just goes straight through........lovely subject!!

Mine is in the morning albeit not dark dark, but just keep on that lovely water and it will go back to clear. Just looked at LT site and it just says as mentioned earlier that the darker it is the more dehydrated you are.
By the way your pee is not coming out of your ears is it? As that would make you a p##s head;-)

It musta been cos it was my first wee of the day!
just had the strawberry shake and to my amazment I really liked it!!

I got most of my shakes strawberry, accidently mixed a choc one (yuk) not for me. Anyway just so you are all aware I am a forum virgin so excuse any mistakes I make (what a buzz 32 years of age neer thought I would get to use the virgin word again).

I got a mixture of shakes and the chicken soup and I like them all but choc is my least favourite too. Not TOO bad with coffee but i'd say i'll get used to them. I love that the strawberry goes bright pink, makes me feel like I'm having an eddie rockets desert!!

You should try the chocolate in a few weeks...you'll be surprised as you will probably love it......my taste buds totally changed!!!
