Starting Exante

Decided to 're-start' exante today (I've tried it a few times in the past but never made it past 3 days!) Anyway, after 3 or 4 weeks of not properly following Weight Watchers and not losing any weight due to my over-eating/lack of exercise I've decided to try exante again, but this time actually stick to it and take it seriously!

Weighed myself this morning and the scales read '13st 0.5', being only 5"3 this is overweight and so I will be follwoing 'Total Solution'. My ultimate goal is to be a size 10-12 and around 10st.

At the minute I'm a size 14 (some size 14s are very snug on me). A few years ago I managed to drop from 12st to 10.5st through weightwatchers and lots of exercise (I was working out 2-3 times per day) but managed to gain this all plus more - not sure why this happened.

I've tried give this plan a go again but found a lack of motivation to continue due to small losses e.g. 1lb per week, this is why I want to do exante, I feel that if I see drastic changes in my weight I will be motivated to continue!

So anyway, Day 1 beings and I will be having 2 shakes and 1 bar
:)

Hi Pamela

i am starting exante today as well :) our stats are almost identical !! So I thought I'd say hi and good luck x

My first time on vlcd so am a bit worried I will be starving! I chose the porridge for breakfast, gonna have a bar for lunch and a soup for tea ( if I'm not eating my own arm by then lol)

Am hoping for a big loss the first week so we can keep each other posted on our progress :). I'm not much of a gym person, but have a running machine so might dust it off during the week if I have any energy.
pam dreading the headache they say kicks in day 2, but will suck it up if it means a good result next week.

let the fun begin x

Hi Angie, good luck to you too!

I have a running machine too although unsure whether I should include exercise or not as I've seen people posting on other forums that it can slow down weightloss on VLCDS (not sure how true this is).

Hi :)
I'm starting today as well. I'm also unsure whether to exercise as I don't want to slow losses down. It's hard to know what to do for the best. Good luck both :) x

Hi sparkle ..... I'm thinking I will ease myself in gently ..... First three days will be torture I think lol. Maybe next week I will tackle the running machine.

Have you seen the c25k challenge? Was thinking that might be a good plan to get me back in the zone. I used to be able to run a 5k, but I am more like a killer tomato at the last try :0)

In the initial stages I think I might just contend with the diet. Although, exercise might take my mind off food and lack of chewing!

Hi guys, I started today, good to see others starting around the same time. Keep going! x

Well to be honest I ballsed it up lol But restarted yesterday and actually managed to get myself through Day 1 yay! :D How are you all doing? x
