About a year ago my girlfriend, her mum and myself all joined our local slimming world group. My girlfriend has done well, but started gaining slightly recently. Her mum sits at home and eats cakes and bread all day long, but never seems to gain any weight. And myself...
I never really took to it in all honestly, I never really wanted to be on the diet and it wasn't my decision to join the group, so after an initial good start my weight has yo yo'd the whole time.
Over the weekend I'd bee feeling low and lethargic, and not quite right. So I decided to joined MiniMins in hope that it would give me the extra support that I need.
I re-joined slimming world last night weighing in at a ridiculous 27st12lbs.
I've bought the MyNetDiary app for my iPad which allows me to enter everything I have eaten into a food diary and gives me the nutritional values of everything. It's pretty awesome.
And... I'm determined from this point forward!
Im not going to set numbers as goals (other than my overall target weight), but rather targets of things I would like to do. My initial goals are:
* Have a holiday in October and feel more comfortable on the flight, in the heat of wherever I end up, and the confidence to go swimming.
* My girlfriends sister is getting married next July. I want to be able to go into a high street shop like Next or Burton and buy a nice suit to wear.
* The weight I have in mind that I want to get to and will be happy with is 16st7lbs (this'll go down!), which leaves me with 11st5lbs to lose.
So with all that said.... be prepared to be bored to death as I write my updates here!
