Starting to grow some herbs any advice please.....

Ive started my herb in pots with some parsley and golden thyme and mint in a pot on its own.

When recipes ask for fresh herbs I think they can be expensive especially basil in a pot when it dies off quickly.


Does anyone have any advice I would like some oregano and some basil not out till the end of the month though.....

Have you tried buying the growing herbs from the supermarkets? They usually last several weeks before dying off. Would probably do until you get your own herbs going.
