i am moving house and my diet has now taken to takeaways and chocolate. i have even put on 5lb! i have tried weight watchers and i just didnt stick to it, i tried using my fitness pal and i tracked food and then would have a takeaway and not add it on. i also have 3 small children and my partner is training to start a new job.

Yes, so I have discovered. I've had CBT around binging as a coping mechanism but it didn't go far enough - and was interupted by a sudden hopital visit.
The only thing that has helped me recently has been a light bulb moment when I realised that I could carry on blaming stress for my weight gain or take responsibility for eating how I have been and to see that I could change if I wanted to.
Moving is my worst nightmare, not done it for decades and don't really want to do it again so you have my deepest sympathies. I can only suggest that you plan ahead as much as possible so at least you have food around that you consider wise choices. Its so easy to pig on the fatty stuff and choccies when you are starving and exhausted with no other easily available food.
