SW - fruit&veg?

hello there!

just looking for some help..
i've starting slimming world today, and 1/3 of your meal is meant to be fruit/veg.

well i'm very fussy with fruit/veg and don't like any of it.

would it still work the same if i enjoyed my meal, but then ate a banana or two straight after it?
is that the same?

for eg there's no veg or fruit with poached egg on toast? so can i eat a banana after? (i say banana that's about the only fruit i can tolerate?)

any help on whether i could do this would be very kind and much appreciated

SW recommend you have 1/3 speed food with each meal, bananas are not speed there must be some veggies you like or have you tried blitzing veg up & putting that in say a chilli/shepherds pie/spag bol? This question has been asked a few times if you have a search on the SW section you may get some ideas. ;)

The 1/3 free food (veggies and fruits) is mandatory for SW. If you eat your normal food and then add a fruit, it's not a plan at all.
I think you should try a plan that suits your style. Perhaps WW, as you can point the food that you like.

U could have beans try different soups they will be some thing u like I love the easy pea soup I avoid banana I always seem to put on when I have them

Peas and beans except from french beans are not a speed food and can't count towards the 1/3...sorry!

Its not mandatory, its recommended only for improved losses. And yes it still counts as dessert.

Lots of people can and do lose weight very successfully without having the third at every meal but that said I think it is important to look on it as a lifestyle change as much as a weight loss programme. Being overly fussy is another learned behaviour that can be overcome if a person is open to trying
 
I had seen it was mandatory with the current program - don't remember if here or somewhere else.
Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
