Hello,

please can can someone help me, I'm not sure if I'm eating to much or the wrong stuff?

This is is roughly what I have in the week:

Breakfast
2 x nimble toast with low fat margarine
2 x nimble with scrambled eggs

Mid morning
Apple

Lunch:
Salad, Chicken, fat free craft dressing, Mullur yogurt, apple & carrots
OR
Chicken, Apple, Mullar yogurt and a mug shot
Sometimes a corn on the cob.

Dinner:
Chicken, Salad, new roast potatoes
SW Burger, salad and SW chips
SW Spag & oasta

I have a macaroon on Saturday.

Can anyone tell me if something I need to change?

Thanks x

There isn't a huge amount of variation and salad, although good for you obviously lacks bulk that other vegetables give (obviously that depends upon what salad). Try and have some super free with your breakfast to make up the 1/3. That nimble bread is like eating air and I know it wouldn't sustain me. Maybe have a banana or a yoghurt with it. Also what is you'd hexA? Presumably the nimble is your B choice? How many syns are you having in a typical day. I can only see it in the spread? If I'm totally honest I can't see there is enough there (again dependant on portion sizes) How is your weightloss?

Which of the plans are you following?

As mentioned I dont see anything for your A choice to get your calcium from ie milk or cheese.

You could have a massive bowl of fruit for your brekki (all superfree) with a yogurt poured over.

Your lunches are salad? whats on it is there 1/3 of your plate filled?

Dont forget which foods are FREE and which are SUPERFREE. Do you go to class? Do you have all the books?

Basically.....more info pls!!

I haven't been to the classes I just started using my mums book as I have kids and struggle to get to the classes. I don't have small potions so maybe I am eating to much?!
I tend not to have any syns in the week apart from better in the morning and the dressing on my salad.
I have two yogurts a day so would that class as my calcium intake?
I'm following the RE Plan. Thank you

You are not eating too much. You will need to read the plan thoroughly and make sure you eat both the HEXA and HEXB (you can have 2 of each with Red). SW encourage a third of your meal to be superfree food. Also the syn thing, I'm not sure you are not eating enough syns and need to make sure you get at least 10 to start with. I can't see your stats but perhaps you should even have all 15. You do need do weigh/measure the butter and dressing and work out exactly what syns you are eating per day. I would recommend looking through the diaries section and follow someone who does the red plan and see what they eat every day. Hope that helps. :)

You put RE plan. Do you mean red or is it a typo for EE?

Because you are having a hex-able carb with dinner if its red and I can't imagine you are having mug shots on red because, forgive me if I'm wrong, but are they not synned on red?

if it is extra easy then what Jvbp above said stands in terms of filling your plate with one third super free at every meal. One hexA choice and one HEXB per day to make sure you get your fibre and calcium (either as part of your meals or a snack) and then have as much free food to make your meals complete. On top of that try and make sure you have at least 10 syns. I know from first hand experience that cutting these back just doesn't work. I stalled for three weeks because of it!

For example on extra easy ill eat in a typical day:

Breakfast:big bowl of fruit and yoghurt
snack: apple or carrot sticks
lunch: scan bran or rye bread (hex b) with laughing cow (hexA)grapes, apple, yoghurt. Maybe if I'm at home I'll cook something like a scan bran pizza or boiled eggs with veg and ham or an omelette with loads if mushroom and onion and cheese(my hexA if not using laughing cow)

dinner: typically lean chicken breast or turkey or burgers made with extra lean mince or quorn or low fat sausages (both of these are synned). I make slimming world chips in my Actify using 3syns worth of EVOO (sprinkled with cheddar cheese if I have not used my hexA at lunch) and have loads of veg. If I have syns left after the oil and anything else I have synned in for dinner I may have a small amount of dark chocolate as a treat.

I feel and probably look like I eat A LOT and my husband thinks its crazy but in reality a lot of it is veg. I probably make up my plate with closer to 50% than 1/3. But it works.
