Hello! I have decided to start a diary as I have been doing very well first 3 weeks, 13lbs off. However this week I have hit the 'meh :eek:' stage lol. I did well all week and remained within syns. Last night we went out for a meal as our old favourite restaurant reopened and we wanted to try it out. I started well, freshly bbq'd chicken at the table with veg. But then I had some pakora, rice and curry *hides face* I did then have cheek to say no to pudding because "I'm doing Sw" hahaha. Today I've been back on plan but I want chocolate so badly. I blame * week. My aim is to maintain tomorrow morning is to maintain but I'm probably more likely to be a 2lb gain between period and off plan night.

Today's eating has been:

Breakfast - heb 2 slice 400g whole meal loaf, 3 grilled bacon medallions and a fried egg (fry light).
Lunch - nothing ( had breakfast at 11am)
Snack- 2 bites of OH homemade cheese burger ( I'm calling it 5 syns between bun and sauce)
Dinner- spag Bol syn free. (Didn't each much felt full all day).

Throughout day I have used some of my HeA for milk in coffee. Had 2 zero calorie red bull and 1 can of Vimto zero. I also had 2 fruit pastels (?2) and 1jaffa cake (2)

Ending today on 9 syns as I'm not confident about my few bites of burger lol.
Weigh in Monday mornings. So I'll ramble here daily to try keep me motivated!

Today I was 1lb on! Which all in all I'm not overly upset about. Been on plan today. Not letting it bring me down!

Just back from morrisons and filled fridge with fruit and veg and all the usual staples. My OH weighed himself last week and last night and is 10lbs down in a week! He isn't even fully following plan but because the "goodies" cupboard is bare and I'm making SW dinners it's just happened lol. Lucky sod haha.

Today's eating so far..

Breakfast- two boiled eggs mashed up in a cup with a tiny piece of butter (2) coffee and green tea
Lunch- half slimming world spicy lentil soup and 2 breadstick (2)
Snack- plum, another coffee, victo zero, cooked chicken leg
Dinner- is gonna be gammon, cabbage and steam veg. Maybe some sw chips.

I think seeing 1 up on scales defo makes you more focused!

Last night was the worst night ever. Did not sleep at all. Major stomach spasms then upset tum :oops::sick0019: (TMI sorry). My daughter also didn't sleep much due to coughing. She has GP tomorrow for asthma meds trial. Hoping it's not asthma but at same time I would love a reason for her not being herself etc.

So after no sleep, work wasn't much fun. Eating wise I done good.

Breakfast- blueberry muller light Greek yoghurt (belly was still icky) (0.5) litre of water
Lunch- lucozade zero calories, some salad (again icky tum) cheese (1/2 hea) pack of turkey chunks, melon and watermelon
Dinner - toast (heb) tinned spaghetti with sausage (no norm so 7 syns) coffee (1/2 Hea)
Snacks - pack of cherries, another yoghurt (0.5) a biscuit (3)

If I don't eat anymore I'll be ending tonight with another cups tea and 11 syns :)

Hopefully sleep better tonight! Got news tonight my cousin has booked her wedding and hen do so that's 2 hens and weddings in sept/October now so that's definitely my target dates! Cisco it's also when we will be going on holiday :wee:

So today I am just alittle 4 hour shift at work. Yeha :D

For breakfast I had a lovely muller light greek yoghurt (0.5) (new obsession) and a banana. I have some chopped up melon waiting to be munched too.

Checked my bmi so its dropped from 31.8 to 29.5 so thats a pick me up.

Its lovely and sunny here again today, so sadly all I want to do is get home and hang out my washing:oops:

Got to take my little one to GP later on too so that'll be fun. She is majorly upset going to nursery every day lately (her nursery went bakrupt and had to start a new one in March, which she seems to enjoy once she is there. Its getting there thats the problem!!). Infact, she is really upset at either me or my partner leaving her at all lately? Is this a normal phase for 3 yo? How long does it last? She was such a confident little sole until about 6 weeks ago and then this all started? Shes off her food etc too but I don't know if thats all illness related or this whole anxiety situation related?

My little one fights it something terrible. But because they started her on her meds last night (Inhaler and loratadine) I had to fill in a mountain of paperwork at nursery. By time I finished paper work tears were stopped and she was eating breakfast fine (she couldn't see I was still there lol). So she is obviously playing with my heart strings (and its working!!).

I was up bright and early today and hung out my washing, chopped up melon and made SW spag bol last night so I put that in tupperwear for lunch. I've literally ate this melon combo all week. Obsessed its so juicy and sweet and yummy! Need to go to morrisons after work for more.

I feel like this week is going well. I have been 10 syns or under all week so far. Upped my fruit and veg and water intake. So hoping it shows on scales. Especially considering I done well last week (minus my one bad night) and put on 1lb! So hoping that has come off and maybe another 2?

I am also totally obsessed with melon just now. Its so juicy and sweet. My OH did the shop last night so he brought me in the orange one? Is it just me or does it taste like grass? :eek::confused: not a fan!
I also didn't bring lunch with me today so at canteen I am gonna need to run past all the delights (can you call hospital food a delight? they serve chips so yes I'll say so) to the soup/salad bar haha.
My plan is baked potato salad and beans/tuna depending how much mayo it looks like there is in it. Its usually kinda dry so should be fine. I might be cheeky and use my HEA for some cheese.. yum!

I also tried to make pizza using wrap last night (they bFree ones heb) but it was a massive FAIL! I ended up using my b choice for cereal and banana. Not the most exciting of dinners.

All in all, its Friday so heres to a pleasant weekend everyone! Shame Scotlands sunshine is fading fast.. looks ready to pour :(

Today is supermarket sweep day in my house. It's the day me and little one take my mum and my gran to shop. I always leave annoyed that I didn't get what I needed and my daughter is in a huff cos she would rather be at Park lol. I day every week I am stopping going but im still doing it!

I'm about to meal plan and organise shopping list. I tend to go to shop through week as well cos I don't like freezing meat etc (no idea why maybe cos it takes longer to cook ha).

Sun is back out in Scotland though!

I'm catching up on masterchef and the chef is talking about squeezing prawn brains as the sauce:eek: yuck!!
 
Managed a successful shop today :D although does anyone find their shopping bill has majorly increased? I try to shop around but busy weeks I don't bother lol. I must have been £20 on fruit and veg alone!

Wasn't too hungry at dinner so has cheesy beano (toast, beans and cheese yum) using my heb and hea. Then I took my daughter a walk for half an hour cause it's lovely outside still. Wee one zonked nearly instantly lol. Gonna chop up some melon and have that now for my speed. :watermelon:
 
After a rubbishy attempt at a family meal out ( went for carvers and meat was all fatty and veg was all covered in butter or oil!!) I am sitting in a right huff haha. My OH just had a hot cookie dough, butterscotch sauce, roasted nuts and dime bar ice cream from local dessert shop :mad: I did lick his spoon at end haha :oops:

I was at the Lung cancer clinic this morning but it was based in the diabetes centre today, and everytime I turned around all I could see was plates of 'food'. Its the charts they use to teach people how many units of insulin to take per meal/carbs but it really made my tummy rumble haha!

2lbs off today so thats me 14lbs aka a stone lighter :D:D

(You'll notice I love coleslaw and do allocate alot of syns to it a week, I always buy the reduced fat and have about 4 syns worth yum)

Feeling so annoyed at myself. Last two nights after work I've ate a rubbish synful dinner!! Tonight we had loads to do so we ended up stopping at KFC to get daughter food as we were gonna be late home and we all ordered food. I asked for pulled chicken rice box but they said it was discontinued??!! Argh so I still got rice box but when I checked syns it said 10.5?? I'm not sure if that's even up to date. I didn't eat it all as I was annoyed when I seen syn value but I'm guessing it was mostly for sauce and the oil for chicken. Wish I had just waited and had something at home :(:oops:

Still keeps me within days syns but I really wanted a choc biscuit lol. Oh well, lesson learned.

Happy Thursday everyone! I am my nice short day today, only working 10-2, then off til Monday:D. Breakfast was a slice of roasted cheese (OH bought an 800g loaf not 400g so only 1 slice was HEB & part HEA cheese) 2 satsumas and 750ml of diluting juice(Sugar free). Lunch won't be til about half 2 and I am undecided what to have. Maybe a roast chicken salad. Has got a bit dreery in scottyland today so a salad isn't too appealing. I have a SW soup in the freezer so may have that instead. Still annoyed about last nights KFC syn wastage!! Lol.

:mad:Another monthly friend arrived today. 2 weeks since last so I'm expecting a gain on Monday between that and my dinners. Not had dinner tonight because lunch was later. Sitting catching up with my Aussie soaps (looooooove!) and relaxing. Just noticed space raider crisps are only 63cals so 3 syns?? But I'm sticking to the 'I'm not hungry enough for an apple so not hungry enough for...' Theory lol. Natalie X
 
I am about to sound so pathetic but I just made a ham salad sandwich and it was the best thing I've ate in 5 weeks lol. Since going back to SW I haven't had a sandwich. I literally enjoyed every last bite haha! Happy Friday folks x
 
So every summer (can we call it that?) all the generations (gran, mum, me and now daughter) go up to the Clyde side (lots of garden centres) and have lunch at our favourite one. Tomorrow is now that day. I will be able to be on plan with lunch they do lovely fresh salads and baked potatoes etc. The issue is the counter about 2 meters long and 3 shelves deep full of homemade baking!! Argh it's my favourite yearly struggle- what to pick?! So I have decided I am just going to enjoy a piece. Because like I say we only go up once a year normally. The next issue is that it also happens to be date night tomorrow and my OH has his heart set on our favourite Indian buffet :eek::oops: so I remember my consultant used to go on about flexy syns if you had a bad day planned. Something like start at 150 and work down. I won't be anywhere near 150 (I hope!!?? Homemade baking may meet that alone though :rolleyes:). Any advice?? Or do I just enjoy it and back on wagon Sunday? Weigh day is Monday morning but I sneaked on today to check the damage and I look to be 2lb down. Where has my will power gone??
