Hi everyone,
Im a newbie on this site but not a newbie on diets. On and off I've been a member of Slimming World but although always successful in losing weight my problem has been keeping up. The reason, because I dont normally feel good with the plan. Found out recently why: I suffer from food intolerance so Im restricted to certain foods. Still, Im trying to follow SW as best as I can. I do have problems working out syn values and I wonder if anyone knows the value of a Corn Cake (Manufacturer: Orgran). I eat them with either Laughing Cow triangles or cottage cheese and they are great. The Value? I am not sure as treat them as rice cakes because that is what they look like.
I also want to know if there is anyone here who is allergic to mold and yeast. Sainsbury supermarket is a great place for shopping as I find quite a lot of gluten, wheat and yeast free products - unfortunately in the syn section of SW booklet there isnt a list of syn values for people with yeast and mold intolerance.
I would love to meet someone who has the same problem so we can perhaps exchange ideas in order to try and compile a list of low syn values in the gluten, yeast and wheat free products.
Looking forward to hear from someone.
Katie
