It all depends on the alcohol content! It would wouldn't it . . . as this affects the sugar content and hence the calories. Working on 330ml bottles the average SYNS are roughly as follows:
Stella / Grolsch = 7.0
Budweiser = 7.0
Bud Light = 5.5
Becks = 6.0
Draft Spanish Lagers
Low Strength = 4.0 (<1% alcohol)
Standard Lager = 6.0 (5% alcohol)
Medium Lager = 8.0 (6% alcohol)
Premium Lager = 10.0 (7% alcohol)
Cruzcampo is I think around 5%.
Watch out for Mahou - it comes in normal (green) and strong (red).

They have started selling low alcohol San Miquel in some of the bars here. About 2% and really tasty. Will be nice on a warm summers evening
Thanks for that Niki. I do not drink beer but a shandy made with light tonic hits the spot on a hot evening.
Iceland are doing light tonic 2 for 1€. A real bargain.

Here in France we have some really good alcohol-free bottled beer (Kronenbourg is just one brand, but Carrefour do a better own-brand one - if I remember correctly, you have Carrefour in Spain?). They work out at about half the syns of an alcoholic one. I can't honestly taste the difference, especially in a shandy.
