Syns in cakemix?

Hello,
Really hoping someone can help me out: a friend is making me a dessert out of betty crocker classic vanilla cakemix, sprite zero, eggs and frozen berries. I believe its a weight watchers recipe and goes for 3 pro points....how do I calculate this into syns? There is no oil or butter used, only the ingredients mentioned above

Help please:eek: thanks xx

Hi - The eggs & sprite are free. As they're being cooked you're supposed to syn the fruit  (you'll have to advise which fruit you're using but the berries etc are either 0.5 or 1 syn per 50-85g). Otherwise, look at the NV on the mix box and it should give you the cals. Just divide by 20 to give the number of syns per box and then divide again by the number of cakes it makes.

Personally, if there's only 100g of mixed berries going in the mix and the mixture divides twixt 12 cases/slices, I'd ignore the syns for the fruit part, as long as I was only having 1 or 2 cakes/slices.

Thank you!:)
I have asked if they would save the box, so I can do some calculating when I see the end result:) xx

Worked it out: 1slice out of a 12slice cake should come on 8 syns. This is incl half a syn for the berries:)
