The Food Diary of a Fattybumbum

Well, I'm starting a food diary on here - I have a paper one as well but this will help me be more accountable and I can also post pictures of my meals.

Quick update so far on today:

I missed breakfast because I was in a massive rush this morning and was feeling like death warmed up (totm). So I was starving when I got to work and ended up eating the chicken breast pieces and the chopped up cucumber I had brought to stave of 10.30am munchies :( so then at 10.30am I ended up eating 10 syns' worth of Roses :( I hate it when there is chocolate in the canteen.

For lunch, I'm having noodles and veg. The noodles are dried from Aldi, and I cooked them with a little bit of chicken stock and then loads of broccoli, carrots, mange tout, sugar snap peas and garden peas. I'm going to eat it now. Nomnomnom.

I may or may not eat 1/3 punnet of strawberries I brought with me. They could be a nice treat for 3.15pm. We shall let the Almighty Tum decide once the noodles have been devoured.

I just ate my strawberries - I reckon that it was probably more like half a punnet than a third, but they are superfree so who cares! They were LUSH. I mean SO YUMMY.

Still a bit peckish - have a bit of stir fry left from lunch time though so I can eat that before I go home if I get really hungry. Don't want to be naughty before I go home and have my spuds and salad!

Had Jacket potatoes and mince for tea with HEB cheddar cheese + 3 syns' worth of cheese, then an Options for afters. Total syns for the day - 15. Was hoping to have less today but the Roses did it for me :(

Exercise for the day - it was raining and my hubby has had to go out to a meeting this evening at church, so I'm dancing in the kitchen to some Michael Buble ^_^ daydreaming about how SLIM I will be at Christmas this year. If I hit my goal of 28lbs lost before Christmas, I'm going to treat myself to a Christmas jumper - I've never had one before because chunky knitwear made me look even fatter.

So far this morning - HE wholemeal toast with 2 boiled eggs and a banana for breakfast.

Also - 1 bottle of Pepsi Max and 3 Celebrations (6 syns).

Yesterday was a rubbish day emotionally. I'm pretty proud of myself that although I didn't stick to plan completely all day, I stayed pretty close.

For lunch, I had noodles and veg again, and then tea was just a plate of SW chips and ketchup. I was in a bit of a state when I got home, and I ended up falling asleep in an exhausted and emotional mess so the evening of fruit and veg prep didn't go accordingly! I had 3 Jaffa Cakes and 4 Cadbury's fingers along with a "Choco-Lot" biscuit (Aldi's own brand I think, similar to a Breakaway). That was on top of the 7 Celebrations I ate during the rest of the day.

So yeah, about 25 syns altogether :( booo. But today has been good so far. I've had the classic HE toast and 2 eggs for breakfast with a banana, and I have salad and chicken for lunch. I may add rice to that as I'm pretty hungry.

Last night I ended up having chips and chocolate :( it's * time and I've just been starving, so I thought I'd have a little treat and go back to healthy eating with renewed vigour today.

Breakfast - HE toast with 2 frylight eggs.

10.30am - 1 banana and a cup of liquorice herbal tea (great for detoxing!)

13.30pm - One portion plain pasta, 2 kiwis and a peppermint tea.

I think I'm going for a Green day today, we'll see what happens at tea time. Tomorrow I'm buying a slow-cooker, and I'm very excited about it :) lots of healthy soups, stews and casseroles coming our way :)
