The journey to the new me!

Hi everyone!
I am a serial dieter, and have been since my late teens. I put on weight when I went to uni, and then shortly after was diagnosed as PCOS at the age of 19. I have lost weight on and off on various diets over the years, but have always struggled with the willpower side!

I am married, and we have one son, who is 4.5yrs old. We have been trying for over a year for a second with no success, so a trip to the GP is going to be I order very soon.

My husband is in the forces, and has just gone away until the end of September, so with him not here to be a bad influence, and the thought of a fertility clinic looming, I decided that the time was here to do something about this weight.

I would like to be 10st, and at the start of this journey I was 14st8lbs. I lost 4.5lbs in my first week, which I was pleased about, and I am still feeling motivated and not finding the diet too hard.

I have done extra easy so far, and I love salad so I have had huge bowls of salad with my meals which is helping and certainly is at least 1/3 of each meal. I also love fruit so I am finding it unite easy to snack on fruit.

I am a science teacher, and there are always a lot of cakes and biscuits in our department, so that's a huge challenge for me! I am trying not to have cake until it is mine and my dad's birthday next month.

I really don't want my weight to be the reason my husband and I can't have another child, and I wold love to lose 2 stones before he comes home so he can see the new me!

Well, I posted this about two weeks ago, and not had a chance to get on since.

I lost 4.5lbs in ,y second weigh in as well, and 5lbs last week.

Weigh in again tomorrow but I have had a terrible week, as I have been with family over the BH so just eaten so badly.

Had a tesco shop on my way back home today to buy lots of fruit and start a new week tomorrow!

So far, I have lost a stone, which I am chuffed about, just got to keep it up now!!!
