Hi all, I've asked numerous times to have my diary moved but to no avail so I'm starting a fresh new one!

Started SW for the first time ever on Monday 4th November 2013 weighing in at a shocking 11st 13lbs. I'm only 5ft 2".

I hope to gain lots of inspiration and support here and also give both too.

I have done most eating plans now losing lots and then gaining again and I'm hoping this us going to be "The Last One" something I can happily stick to for life, and so far so good, I'm loving the freedom.

Anyway, enough rambling! Tea tonight was roast chicken, chips and salad.

Chips were fab using my new potato chipper too, much quicker and they cook evenly too which is great! I've been on a spree today buying lots of new cookware in my effort to cook from scratch and store all those lovely leftovers x

Morning all, another day has started! Sneaky peek shows another loss, simply can't believe it with what I ate yesterday!

Breakfast was a muller light with chopped nana and coffee.

Lunch was a huge Jacket with a portion of butter, mixed crab meat and salad with a skinny latte.

Dinner was roast chicken, chips and salad!

Love it :0)

I'm feeling like a mad woman talking to myself at the moment :/

Anyway, today has been filled with lots of remembrance parades due to my daughter being in the army cadets so lots of running around along with very proud moments!

Yesterday was spent shopping with friends and a little wine and lunch then evening movies at home with them all. Stuck to plan and was pleasantly surprised to have lost again!

Just prepped Sunday lunch for when DD finishes her final remembrance church service at 5pm... Completely syn free too which is amazing.

Roast Turkey crown, Roast potatoes and parsnips parboiled in chicken stock before popping in the oven, cauli, peas and cabbage along with a thick onion gravy.

Can't wait!!

Breakfast was muller light with chopped banana and I still have 15 syns left and technically another meal as no lunch, I may have a few ryvita as my HEB, HEA was milk :0)

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday x

Syn free gravy to go with my Turkey crown roast.

I went with the onion trick....

Popped 4 onions in the soup maker and turned it to sauté for 10 minutes, added 2x Chicken oxo and water with sage herbs and cooked for a further 10 mins. And then blitzed with xantham gum to thicken and it tastes fab!

Oohh the syn free gravy sounds yummy, will definitely have to give that a go at some point!

Good luck with the weight loss. Hoping that this time will be my last as well!

Well one day left before Wednesdays WI....thing is I'm feeling bloated, not just slightly but I actually feel I'm resembling one of Branson's lovely virgin balloons!!

Anyone else felt like this in the first week or is it just me?? I've been told about Slimatee so I'm off to H&B tomorrow to purchase!

It's gotta be worth a try..!

Totally stuck to plan though so I really don't understand this really uncomfortable feeling, I'm just waiting for someone to ask when my due date is....

Anyway, signing off for the night, G'night all x

Morning all, or should I say morning Jo as I'm still talking to myself here....never mind, it's my diary about my thoughts for the day....

Today is online food shop day, was meant to do it on Sunday but with the ferrying around if DD to her numerous remembrance parades etc I ran out of steam, and patience!

I've had a good first week food wise, can't believe how much I've been eating and slightly skeptical about tomorrow's loss on my first WI...I'm also still feeling massively bloated which doesn't help.

I'm quite enjoying the meal planning aspect of online shopping, and I love that I can go to the fridge and know exactly what we are having and having all the ingredients there. Also very little food wastage which makes a lovely change, so I think it's definitely a new way of shopping to stick with.

Just had lunch, Batchelors chicken and mushroom pasta with two ryvita HEX...brekkie was a muller light with banana and coffee with the HEA allowance of milk which I also used in my pasta along with a tsp of clover light as it's the only way I can use all my syns.

Right off to menu plan and online shop! x

Food looks good. I really need to meal plan more but its difficult when the boyfriend doesn't want to eat the same things I do.

If they don't eat what I make then they don't eat, simples :) Well the first dreaded WI day has arrived and it's 5lb off for me, got to be happy with that after what I've eaten this week, it's also spurred me on to do even better this week! Food shop being delivered today so I intend sorting the kitchen out once and for all and going through all the tat in there including countless meaningless containers! I went out on a shopping mission the other day and bought new everything due to the excitement of being able to prepare and cook real food so I shall be finding new homes for it all today! image-2986648455.jpg image-1028752542.jpg image-616037648.jpg image-3314800568.jpg image-3215640169.jpg Here's to another good week x Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

Hi Jo, subscribing to your diary. Well done on the 5lbs! Food looks scrumptious and love the new gadgets. Good luck with SW. I too gained all my weight back and more after son went to uni in the US :( have lost a stone and hope to have the last stone gone by spring. x

Hello you :0) yep I gained too after one hell of a stressful year, think I've had everything possible thrown at me!!

Which plan are you doing now? Still Atkins? I'm loving being able to have pasta and spuds again after such a long time.... I shall also pop into your diary daily to spur you on xx

Sorry to here you had a stressful year Jo. I'm doing low calorie and love having everything too. Atkins was great but unsustainable in the long term for me. Great to see you posting again, I just may switch to SW if I continue to stall, but I'm exercising and toning up so that's a result. Are you doing EE? x

Yep, currently doing EE and it is just what it says on the tin, Extra Easy! I got really fed up with limited food options on Atkins and low carb even though I was cooking different recipes etc....I got really fed up with constant meat and cheese etc.

I'm loving being able to grab something whilst I'm out too, the last straw was when I was on nights and got stuck on a job in the middle of nowhere with just a petrol station to choose food from, I ended up buying two microwave burgers as I had to throw the buns etc....there wasn't anything else in the shop I could eat that didn't contain carbs!

Good thing about Atkins though is it's really put me off fatty meats that I used to love through eating them so much and when I think back to thinking it was normal to eat coconut oil off a spoon it makes me want to throw up. ?

I've joined online to start but a friend of mine wants to start at a local class next week so I may go along with her too! It really is so easy and liberating as you really can eat loads along with everything, some being in moderation of course!

And no calorie counting or points etc! x

That looks lovely, such a good idea. Im planning to start slimmingworld tomorrow, I have everything ready and im excited to start :) ... Good luck xx

Here to subscribe!

Oooh how does the crab stick pate taste?!!! I love salmon and crab sticks. Also miss eating pate! My mum usually blends salmon and extra light Philadelphia to make pate, I bought crud quality salmon when I tried to make it and it was reflected in the taste! Tasted horrible lol.
