THE START OF A NEW ME - My Diary

On so been suggested I should do a food diary so here goes, I started last Wednesday so I'll put up my completed days so far, feel free to comment or point out where I'm going wrong as im sure im making some rookie mistakes.

ok here goes.

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast
1 Poached Egg - 2 Turkey Rashers - Tomatoes + Mushrooms

Lunch
4 slices of tesco lean ham - mixed salad and salad

Dinner
3 egg omelette with chicken, peppers, onions and mushrooms with spinach
mixed side salad

Thursday

Breakfast

1 Quorn Sausage (1syn) 3 Turkey Rashers 1 Poached Egg, 3 Tomatoes, 4 mushrooms,
2 warburton small wholemeal slices

Lunch
2 slices of ham, 1 Apple, 2 Satsumas, 1 Tesco healthy living Yoghurt

Dinner
2 Chicken Breasts, 1 So Juicy cook in bag sauce (5.5syns), Mushrooms, onions, broccoli and Cauliflower

Friday

Breakfast
3 Turkey Rashers, half an onion, tomatoes, mushrooms.

Lunch
Prawns and Spinach with Garlic

Dinner
Slimming Worlds Easy Chicken Curry with Spicy Broccoli and Green Beans (amazing btw)

Saturday

Breakfast
2 Turkey Rashers, chopped tomatoes

Lunch
Ham Salad Sandwich using warburtons small slice wholemeal with 1 tsp of Helmand light mayo (2syns)

Dinner
Liver, onions, and mushrooms in gravy made with granules (4syns)

As my Healthy A and B's most days if I haven't had my slices of wholemeal bread I will have 35g of Bran Flakes with skimmed milk or if I have had the bread the. I'll just have a glass of milk.

i have drank on average probably 4 black coffees, 3 pints of water and a Dr Pepper Zero each day too.

My exercise has been 45mins on the stationary bike each day which thankfully is getting easier.

Please feel free to jump in and tell me where I may be going wrong, I think mostly this has been so far an EESP week but I may be wrong.

Thanks Michelle, as far as I know im not. im not good at the just have one thing so ive just tried to not have any. no butter, no sweet things, only things really was the so juicy cook in the bag thingy and gravy granules. I have had a couple of the Tesco
healthy option no syn yoghurts. This will more than likely change over coming weeks but trying to start off really strict for first couple of weeks, also it saves them if I fancy a few drinks one night :cool:
 
Weirdly so far I feel fine, just munched my way through a carrot as a snack, not quiet a Twix but hey ho, needs must
 
Hey...here to sub! Food is looking good! Just be aware with EESP that it is intended for a boost when you really need it and SW recommend it not be done for more than a couple of weeks together to ensure you are getting a good balanced diet. Also, if you are doing EESP you get 2 Healthy Extra B's a day as opposed to the 1 on EE :) Other than that don't be too strict on yourself with the syns, they are there to be used... you will be amazed at how quick the weight falls off :)

Yea ive def just used syns in my dinner not sure how many though, had RibEye steak with salad and mushrooms, im sure it will be syned as def the fattiest of the steaks (but the best)

Yea ill not be on SP to long as im already missing things like bananas lol ive had 2 hexb a couple of the days and I will be today as gonna have double my 35g bran flakes for supper

Breakfast
3 Turkey Rashers, Tomatoes, 2 Eggs + Mushrooms

Lunch
Leftovers of last nights Liver, onions, and mushrooms in gravy made with granules (3syns)

Dinner
Rib Eye steak with peppers, mushrooms and mixed salad (giving 4syns for steak as wasn't very lean)

Hex a - 200ml skimmed milk
Hex b - 35g Bran Flakes

Snacks
1 x Apple
2 x Carrots cut into sticks

Drinks
1 x Dr Pepper Zero
4 x Black Coffee
1 x cup of tea
3 x Water​

That covers today although I may have a Tesco Healthy Living Yoghurt later with some fresh Raspberries :)
 
Fair play.. Are you doing SW alone or going to class and when is weigh in day for you? :)
 
Went to my first class last Wednesday, weigh in this coming Wednesday, nervous but excited at the same time. Everybody saying givin my size will be a big loss first week but im not expecting a lot ill be happy with any loss after the last few months
 
Good Luck for Wednesday! It's sensible not build your hopes too much up, but just keep at it...you may just surprise yourself :)
 
Great looking diary, but please do include some syns in there.mi don't see many, if any!

Even if you don't use them for treats as such, maybe use them for a few extra slices of bread, or a favourite sauce. They are part of the plan and are there to be used, so don't feel like if you don't use them you will lose more weight quicker, as trust me, it doesn't work that way!

Also I second what others have said, SP should be used as a boost and not as a regular thing.

thanks for that advice Kay, yea i'm on a mission with this I WILL lose this weight.
, not only for health reasons but im due some new motorbike gear and im not buying them in this size!!!!
 
I would advise also to make use of tickers for your signature and use the the slimming world online to weigh in and food diary too. It's motivational to watch the graphs going down and the tickers showing your progress when you sign in.
 
Thanks again yea been looking at other peoples ticker thingies I will get to that i'm getting there slowly I'm to old for all this technology haha
 
Well here's todays offerings
Also have done a total of 90mins on exercise bike and been to Physio for 30mins
Been a good day today feeling positive for Wednesday's weigh in :D

Now time for Bath and Relaxxxxxxxxxxx :D
