Thinking of changing

I need to order my next batch of products as only enough left to last till Friday.

Just checked out slim and save whilst I was browsing and they have so many more flavours of shakes and nicer flavoured bars so was thinking of maybe trying that instead, not that I dont like Exante but a bit more variety would be nice.

Has anyone done slim and save?
What is the difference between the 2?
Would you recommend?

Thanks x

Your best bet is to ask in the slim and save section hun because I know there are a few people over there who have gone from exante to s&s.

I had thought about changing to slim and save myself because of their bigger range of products but as exante is working for me I dont want to change now......dont fix what's not broken right :D

Thanks Blue. :) I have posted in the slim and save section but it doesnt appear to be very active or have many posts going on so not sure if will get a reply.

I order the shakes one month bumper pack on Exante and for the same price you can do a mix n match of shakes, bars and meals.

I might try it out and if it doesnt work then come back to Exante. :p

I dont want to leave the Exante forums though if I swap

I looked into it and got some free samples . Firstly you have to have 4 packs or 3 and a multi vitamin ( how that is safe I dont know .. ) , so doesnt work out much cheaper ... the packs I tired were nice but very small , the shakes were thin and didnt satisfy me and the bars were amazing .. but about 1/2 the size of the exante ones and the spag bol was nice but again very little of it .... I decided to stick with exante as didnt like the way S&S was run .

Ive no desire to change from Exante but I've ordered a sample of S&S chicken soup and 2 of their meals. Sometimes in this horrible weather I just feel I need more but IF I do have them it'll be as well as my 3 Exante packs not as a replacement. Im too worried about messing up the nutrients etc so Id rather err on the side of caution

I love the shakes I have and the porridge so Ill be sticking with Exante :)

Thanks for the replies. I have decided to try a weeks worth and see how I get on. Its the bars that appeal to me the most, they sound delicious. Will probably be back on exante in a week, lol x

Thank you Blue. Still on Exante for the rest of this week x

Good luck, let us know how you get on with Slim and Save

Will do. It has arrived today so will be starting at weekend when my Exante packs run out. They sent a shaker, 30 days of multivitamins and 2 tapemeasures all free of charge x

Ive tried the spag bol and crispy choc shake (made with water) and the lemon bar... they were all really nice.. i also tried the porridge but i thought it was revolting (scrambled egg in texture) .. ive decided to do a mix and match from next month... mainly cos the savoury meals are so appealing... there is only so much shakes and soup n porridge a girl can put up with... As for the vitimins im sure they wouldnt be able to advertise it as a tfr if it wasnt safe to do it with a multi vit tablet...
I also sort of think that when we are eating a "normal food diet" do we ever actually get all the vitimins??? i very much doubt it...
I think its each to their own but what ever you chose just adhere to the guidelines eh ... xxxx

After seeing this post I ordered a few samples from S&S, I really like the Exante shakes combined with Tesco bars but thought this might add a bit of variation now and again.

I ordered spag bol, choc truffa bar and a hazlenut shake. I didn't order the soup or porridge as Exante porridge is lush and I don't like Exante soup so no reason to think I would like S&S soup.

I had the spag bol tonight, it looked and smelt like baby food once cooked and was about the size of a baby portion so I put it in my nephews baby bowl to eat :D It was nice enough, probably wouldn't have it again as it wasn't gorgeous and as I said I do actually like the Exante shakes.

The chocolate truffa bar... now that's another matter entirely! It was absolutely divine! Very small but felt like a real treat so I just nibbled at it to make it last longer!

Can you do the crispy choc/vanilla shakes with water cause I noticed earlier that is says make with skimmed milk for then 2 and if you can do it with water I would prefer to do that.

I know my old diet of burgers, chips, chocolates, crisps etc the list goes on, I definitely didnt get all the recommended vitamins/minerals etc so surely 3 packs and a tablet as they recommend will be absolutely fine x

I really like the exante shakes too but was just starting to get a bit bored of the same 4 flavours so have ordered this for variety really. I cannot wait to try the bars they sound delicious and I havent heard a bad review yet. Think I will still get a couple of tesco ones in though for when I need something a bit bigger :D

I thought the meals would resemble baby food and thats kind of what put me off, even though my 7 months old food often looks appealing when all you've been having is shakes so maybe I'd like them x

I can beat that... I thought the cat food smelt quite pleasant this morning! :jelous:

Tried the final S&S sample tonight, the hazelnut shake. I had a few sips and could have forced it down if necessary but it wasn't anywhere near as nice as the Exante shakes so I threw it away and will have an Exante shake instead!
