Thinking of doing this (ex-lighter lifer).

SerenityValley

Surgically happy.
Anyone done both and know how it compares? by the end of ll last time, I couldn't so much as eat another thing. I only really want to do this one for 2 months and think for the price it could be worth a try.

Last time I suffered badly because I had terrible toothache and kept knocking myself out of ketosis because of pain meds. The toothache was he dentists fault (they made me wait to see if it'd settle before fixing their mistakes).

I'm certainly close to talking myself into doing this. I have 4 stone to lose though 3 would be enough.

Go for it, havent tried LL but exante is not bad with good losses or check out slim and save think it works out a bit more expensive than exante but more variety, good luck ;-)

Thanks. I've ordered a months supply but gone with just the shakes and bars. I'll see how it goes the first 3 weeks and if it is going well I'll get another month.

Starting Easter Monday (it's the wife's birthday on Easter Sunday, and this time round I'm not letting anyone but her know I'm doing it).

Though I'm tempted to start earlier!

No, def not easy. However, after Easter there are no big family things to do for a few months. Once I'm sure I can do it, I'll probably let my mum know.

Being a bloke, I could probably lose 3 stone in 2 months. I tend to be able to stick to these things 100% but once I've slipped, I stop.

Oh i know just what you mean ( one chunk of choc leads to another and all that) and before you know it youve blown the whole thing. it would not be so bad but take me ages to get my mind in diet zone ,good luck with it.

I'm starting Exante tomorrow :cross: I looked into S & S and thought it looked great- the feedback from the forum was good BUT it confuses me- it's not as straight forward as 3 packs a day on Exante IMO. I need to start shifting this weight and once i've used up my months supply of Exante I'm thinking of switching to Slim & Save as a change (a change is as good as a rest ;)) It'll keep me on my toes! They are both good value so I can hop back and forth to keep myself from getting bored and complacent :)

Hi

I did LL and lost 3 stone in 3 months, I prefer exante as its cheaper and you dont have to goto the meetings. I cannot stomach the soups on exante, I used to like the bars but I now use the tesco ones and there cheaper, so I stick to the shakes which I love and I find much better than LL.

Over 3 years I put all the weight back on that I lost on LL so I am trying Exante, I tried it last year but got no support from my other half. No I am single again I am trying again, I am 6 days in and its fine. My daughter and I were invited out for lunch today and I just sat there and had a bar!! I felt so proud of myself and I can already feel the difference. It does me good drinking all the water as before I used to drink at least 5 cups of coffee a day with full fat milk and 2 large spoons of sugar.

Good luck and like you say as your a man you will probably lose it a lot quicker.

Sarah
