Hi all im thinking of starting this diet, i just have a few questions.

I have done 3 meal replacements on cambridge, is it the same?? And on this diet and does the spag bol, porridge and new shakes with milk have roughly same calories as shakes.

And last question with the porridge, spag bol and new cereal shakes are you limited to 1 of each of these each day.

Thanks
Louise

Hi Louise,

I think it's pretty much the same as Cambridge but I've never done CD so can't really compare.

On S&S most shake's are about 120-130 cals (2 are 160-170 cals with milk not water), meals/soups are all about 135 cals, porridge 200 cals with milk, bars 130-150 cals. So they mostly range about the same area.

With the porridge/spag bol/ new shakes debate. If you made your porridge with water, which some do, you could have all three in a day. I think we've have come to the conclusion that you're best not having 2 products with milk in the same day. So you couldn't have 2 new shakes in one day.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply, so if i wanted to i could have 2 meals a day, its just the milk 1s you limited to 1 a day.

what are the losses like?? And which of the products do you recommend?

Yes, you can have 2 'meals' per day, but only 1 milk product (but I make the porridge with water anyway) and only 1 bar (or wafers). Other than those basic rules it's up to you. There are several people who have swapped here from Cambridge and the losses are much the same I believe.

Slim and Save sell samples so you could try before you did a big order but I usually have porridge, banana or strawberry shake for breakfast, choc truffa or lemon bar for lunch, and spag bol or porridge for supper. They have just added a chilli so that will probably feature in my supper options when I next need to order. Of course everyone likes different things so YMMV.

Your probably best off starting with a weeks worth of the things you like the sound of. By the time you do your next order make sure you've tried each of the different things/flavours and you'll know which one's you want to re-order. I'm really picky and so there's only certain flavours I'll try. Plus everyone's different. E.g. some people love the vanilla shake but it makes me sick.

I've only just started on this so can't comment on the losses but from what I can see of those that have been doing a while they seem pretty good.

Meals wise I think there was someone on her having just meals. It's up to you how you want to play it (other than the milk and bars thing).

Best of luck if you decide you get great support here! I have done CD before and what I like about S&S is the food options. Think they calorie out is slightly higher but I don't think it makes much a difference when you see the losses the girls are showing here....xxxxx

Well i have just ordered some samples to try, i have a weeks worth of cambridge to use up which i be starting 2mo
