Step 1 Sole Source This Is It!

Hi All

Thought I’s start a diary on here to help keep me on track.

I have previously done CD, first time back in 2007 when my start weight was just under 19st. Unfortunately I never stuck to the plan 100% all the time and loads of breaks in between, but eventually got down to 8.7st in 2009. As I never did maintenance properly I gradually put on a few stone and my weight yo-yo’ed between the 10’s and 11’s until this year where I’ve just gone off the rails for no particular reason and I’m now 13st:eek: as at Friday 7[SUP]th[/SUP] June when I started CD.

I’ve decided to nip it in the bud now before it spirals too much out of control and this time I’m determined to do maintenance all the way properly. My goal is 9.7st but tbh I’ll even be happy with 10st as I think I was probably too skinny at 8.7st and found it hard maintaining at that level.

So today is Day 3 and I’m feeling good though Day 1 & 2 were a bit of a nightmare with headaches and cravings, so I’m glad I’m over that! I’m not a fan of the soups or packet shakes so for the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] week I’m having 1 porridge & 2 tetras per day, then when I can have the bars I’ll probably swap one of the tetras for a bar. I’m not good with drinking water normally but so far have managed to have more than the minimum plus the warm weather helps.

I may not update the diary everyday but will definitely try to every few days. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone with your CD journeys!:)
 
Day 5 today and its actually been a hard day. I physically feel hungry & my stomach's been making those growling noises all day. Good thing is I don't have the desire to eat anything and cheat, just been drinking more water & loads of black tea to try & fill me up. I'm defo in ketosis as tested with a ketostix and can tell with my breath.

Roll on Thursday when I have my first weigh in!
 
It's been a while since I was last on here but basically today is exactly 2 weeks on CD and 14lbs off:D plus overall 15 inches off with 7 1/2 from my waist alone:D I'm really pleased with the results so far. I have been on SS+ on week 2 and seeing as I got a fantastic loss this week I've decided to carry on SS+. Obviously I know going forward my losses will be much less but as long as my losses average around a stone/ month I'll be a happy bunny:)
