Been in a bit of a slump and the no1 thing that helps me stay sane is meal plans with shopping lists so I thought I'd post mine here in case they help someone else. I'll try and include recipes too but bear with me.
Nerdy Notes:
recipes with no syns mentioned are syn free. I try not to use my HEx in recipes as I find it hard to keep track if I do.
i hate frylight :yuk: ith a passion! I use oil sprays (sunflower or olive oil depending on the recipe) instead. These are 0.5 syns for 5 sprays and well worth it to me!
i also hate cooked quark/cooked fromage frais :sign0137: and I'd rather use low fat creme fraiche and syn it.
1. Tomato beef pasta, courgettes
2. Bangers and mash with onion gravy, green beans (2 syns per portion)
3. Lemon chicken with stir fried veg rice (2syns per portion) (adapted from Hairy Dieters)
4. Quinoa lime salad (1 syn per portion) (recipe on Allrecipes.com, adapted to drastically reduce olive oil)
5. Spaghetti with prawns in aubergine tomato sauce (adapted Jamie Oliver recipe from 15 min Meals)
6. Fish chowder
7. Lamb stew
