Hey guys, my low GI is going really well! I feel energetic and so much less hungry than I ever have on a diet before.
Yesterday I had arranged to meet the girls at Pizza Express and as we weren't meeting till 8.15 I was starting to feel VERY hungry.
I was chatting to my mum as I walked to the restaurant and she mentioned she'd seen this drink called Neuro Trim in the paper and apparently it fills you up so you eat much less at meals.
I thought "yeah right", but then to kill time I went into Boots and they did have some. It seemed expensive at 1.79 but it was 2 for 1 so I thought, whatever.
I drank the whole bottle, and within minutes all my horrible cravey hunger had gone. I met my friends, and because I wasn't hungry any more, I was able to make really good choices. I had a green salad with light dressing, followed by a 'light' pizza (500 cals). Well - I was only able to eat half the pizza, I was so full! (This NEVER happens to me!)
Also, was a bit concerned about the amount of wine we always drink when we are together but I found it really easy to stick to water and only had 1 small glass of the wine.
I just had the second bottle before my dinner tonight and managed to stop 2/3 of the way through my bowl of pasta!! Unbelieveable!!!
Hope this might help someone. I don't know if it's something I'd do every day but I think it's a great tool for those 'danger' times when you might end up eating something you'll regret!!
