Saturday weigh in's.........

I started back at slimming world in august 2010 - was 13.7 - got down to 10.13 (for one week) it was Christmas - after Christmas I was 11.3 and I stayed around 11.3 to 11.10 all of 2011. Since Christmas 2011 I gained around a pound a month and 2 weeks ago realised that I was back to 12/7.5 - OK I was STILL a stone lighter than I was 2 years ago - but was disappointed with myself that I had allowed myself to get bigger again. Plus I was having to buy size 18's and can't get into my 14/16 clothes.

So week 1 - I lost 3.5lb's (I normally lose more in the first week because I start to exercise straight away, but I have a bad knee so can't), I can live with 3.5lb's loss though.
Week 2 - I lost 2lb's - so I am 5.5lbs lighter than I was 2 weeks ago and ALREADY feel much better.

Had a bad day yesterday after weigh in - my knee is really getting me down, work is hard and stressful, hubby working right by the chinese take away we all love in our family so he got a takeaway and brought it home - I also had chocolate and a couple of rubbishy bits.

Haven't eaten correctly either today (haven't been particularly bad) - BACK TO IT PROPERLY TOMORROW.

My sons GF is also on SW with me and we have eaten really well - so I want to update this diary (knowing me I won't get time !) - so I can look back and pick up some of the recipes we've done without having to keep deciding what we are going to have for tea.

Hope I can keep it up to date.

Here we go - Monday tomorrow will be real tired after work.
 
Nearly a week has gone by since I started this New Food Diary = and haven't made one entry ! But have been exceptionally busy (as always) PLUS my bad knee. Had to go to A&E with knee last night and doc has given me a week off work to rest it - should have been resting it since day one (5 weeks ago) - and taking strong painkillers. All I have done is taken ibruprofen and paracetamol and it really hasn't touched the pain at all..........................new pain killers are much better but make me feel really woozeeee - plus I am on crutches to help me get around a bit better. I must admit I've struggled this week on my feet all day and the pain was diabolical.

ANYHOOOOO - food diary......................have been almost 100% all week again - but don't think I shall be showing any loss tomorrow - It would be very nice to get at least one and half pounds which would make me half stone lighter. I feel much better though and wearing a top today which I bought for my holiday 8 weeks ago and couldn't wear it because my stomach stuck out too much and I felt I looked bloody awful.

This week I have had all slimming world meals including : chilli con carne and meat balls and salmon salad - I have also done the quicky cheesecake tonight which is a favourite but pretty expensive so a rare treat.

We are having a KFC tomorrow night - but being on track all day and back to it properly on Sunday, ............. losing weight will really help my knee joint too - I hope - and really I only have ab out 13lb's to my club 10 and only about 1 stone 3lb's to my personal goal.

So it's going to be slow.

Will try and diary my foods this week as I shall be off work nursing this bad knee.
 
oh so tired all the time on this medication - knee still bad - fed up sitting down to rest it - worn out really.

anyhoo - bad bad day yesterday after weigh in - lets not go into that - had a chinese on the night time too.

but been back on plan today and was very good.

did sw meat balls - they were exceptionally tasty too......................really enjoyed them, only had two weetabix and lots of fruit throughout the day try a bit of damage limitation.

Got to got to keep at it this week as I really want to get below 12 stones.
 
monday night had fresh salmon and salad - but went over a bit on syns - can't remember why around 17 so had to cut back on tuesday.

lots of fruit on tuesday and 2 weetabix and for tea I couldn't be bothered to cook for myself so ended up having a WW meal (5 syns according to online) and did some frylight mushrooms and onions with it too - it was actually quite delicious. Very hungry on the night time though so ended up having a banana on one slice of toast ! 6 syns - no doubt went over on syns AGAIN.

Must start to write everything down.

Today then - grapes and apple and strawberries (quite a lot of them) natural yoghurt and sweetener all free.....................2 weetabix for lunch. & dinner time I had chicken wrapped in bacon (very lean) with little potatoes and frylight roasted veggies (peppers and onions and mushrooms) - with very small amount of gravy ( 3 syns maybe ). Oh and had a packet of french fries (4.5 syns) - around 7.5 syns for the day.

showing no difference on the scales though.
 
showing 12 stones ! which would mean a one pound loss - but we shall wait and see on saturday at proper weigh in

so today then, weetabix as a lunch as I didnt' get up until late'ish...............had an apple and 2 peaches............packet of french fries 4.5 syns. had a slice of bread (6 syns) with a banana when I got home from the hospital - & dressing on my salad with bacon (very lean) - 13/5 syns for the day - ish.

two weeks off work with my bad knee - still pretty painful - had physio but she didn't do much really - gotta go back for a machine to be put on injured part - still doesn't really know if its arthritis or an injury.

going to try and have lots of fruit tomorrow and no carbs and another bacon salad for tea - keeping the syns down as far as possible. WOULD just LOVE to be under that 12 stones for saturdays weight in.

NSV though - got back into my size 14 denim skirt (OK have to admit it's a stretchy type denim) BUT I couldn't get it on the first week I tried it on when I started back at my rejoin on SW on 7.7.12 - so that's not too bad is it.
 
I know I shouldn't but I do - I'm a serial weigher ! was showing 12.1 again this morning which would mean no weight loss this week - IF I havne't lost any weight and because I am on my own at weigh in this week I might just weigh and go - do a bit of shopping and get home because my leg is paining me all the time.

so today - weetabix and raspberries and a WW soup (6.5 syns though!) - salad dressing tonight 3.5 syns = 9 syns = had two apples and a banana & a very lean bacon salad with sweetcorn popped in good EE day. Feel quite full now.

Really really hope I've lost at least a pound tomorrow - IF I haven't I think I will need to get on to Red days because they always used to suit me better/
 
Well it's monday again already, do not know where the time goes to.

tired and worn out with my leg - but definitely slightly better and not having as much pain as I was. But when pain there - it's still excessive.

Foodwise - very bitty really.........................weekend was OK'ish - not marvellous, think I went over on syns but didn't write them down so really don't know but suspect that I did.

Today - funny day - started with strawberries and nat yog - sweetened with sweetener - then had grapes too - fruit was actually bit 'off' - so it wasn't that enjoyable.

Lunchtime came around and had lettuce with tomatoes and prawns and around 3.5 syns in sweet chilli dressing - it actually wasn't very nice - and ended up having a slice of bread (Hea) with it and again didn't REALLY enjoy it.

So have ended up having 3 wholemilk yogurts - need to check the syns on them - but reckon they're probably at least 4 syns each -

Tea was OK - loads of free veg and chicken and little boiled potatoes - gravy around 2 syns (so all in all if the yogs are 4 syns each and I hope they're not any more than that then I've had over on syns AGAIN - around 17.5 syns for the day - MUST MUST MUST watch what I'm doing tomorrow.

Hope to have a better week this week and lose more than a pound - but I really have to kick myself to keep me motivated and watch exactly what is going in my mouth.
 
Where do the days go to eh ................... Thursday again aleady.

Been back to my GP today as my leg is still bad - it is 65-70% better I have to admit, BUT due to go back to work tomorrow. Know full well IF I went back tomorrow then within a few days my leg would be as bad as it was in the beginning and I don't think I could cope with that pain again........................AND the GP said straight away another month off. I'm not used to having time off sick & not being able to exercise certainly isn't helping the weight come off either.

However being a bit slimmer is definitely helping the knee joint - so will persevere with trying to lose weight a bit more slowly - but FOREVER !

Tried hard this week to keep to red days but have found it hard..........................kept thinking about chocolate all day yesterday and more often this week than I have since I first started back on plan 5 weeks ago.

I think DS GF has waned too - and because she's not so much into it as she was it's knocking me a bit too..........................will make a SW cake this afternoon and see if that helps us feel a bit better about it.

Hoping I have lost 'at least' 2lb's this week - will keep on keeping on and try and get 2.lb's off - then I'll be 10lbs lighter - very nearly a stone.
