Tinned Mackerel in Tomato Sauce

I want to start eating more fish and I know that these are free.

If you eat them what to you have with them?? do you eat them cold or do you heat them up??

Sorry for stupid question but never had them before.

You could eat them hot or cold. Hot on toast is very nice.

I usually have mine with salad. I've made mackrel for my lunch today with grated cauliflower, cabbage, & some potatoes from my 198grm hexb.

I sometimes have egg, tomatoes, cucumber or butternut squash with it.

They are gorgeous with a plain baked potato and salad. I always have that for a couple of meals a week.

I often have these mixed with uncle bens express rice for a quick office lunch! esp with the tomato and basil flavour mmmm!

I don't do SW but I do eat a fair bit of fish.

I usually eat these cold straight from the tin or with salad. I found a new one today - mackeral in chilli dressing (just a chilli oil really), I prefered these to the tomato ones.

the only way I have ever eaten makerel of any type is 2 tins in tom sauce blitz up in fromage frais and used as a dip yum!

on a baked potato, with cheese on top and stuck under the grill to melt OR on toast with cheese on top Or mixed into a tomato & veg pasta sauce. I LOVE mackerel!

I do them 'Sicilian style' with spaghetti. Similar to the recipe fround here using tinned mackerel instead of sardines:

I leave out the pine nuts and sultanas though to make it syn free!
