Tomato puree = FREE !!

I meant to post this last week...haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere but apologies if it has been - my consultant announced that she'd been to a meeting last weekend where it was announced that tomato puree is now FREE

Not sure if there are any consultants on here that can confirm this?

Yes I've heard that too and a few people on here have confirmed that they're consultants also told them this week that its now free!!

Never bothered to syn it. Counted it the same as chopped tomatoes.

Does this mean passata is free?

I never syn it either its tomatoes, pureed and who would use tons of it in a dish to make it fattening anyway. Sorry but some of the syn rules are silly and this was one I moaned about for ages, finally SW have seen sense.
