Total carbs vs Net Carbs

To all thoses hardened atkiners....whats the difference between total and net carbs. I live in the UK so not sure if it relates over here?

UK- fibre is already deducted from the carb count.
US- you have to deduct the fibre from the total carb count.

So basically, the carb detailed in the nutrition of food labels ie: sausage 0.1g per sausage, is my carb allowance??? No tweaking or deducting anything????

Yep thats right. The only exception is the Atkins bars but they have net carbs printed on the front for you any way
