Hi,
suppose i thought i would do this to see where it ends up. I did CD at end of last year as had 4.5 stones to lose, i lost about 2.5 and decided i wanted normality back and the cost was too much for me and so just ate normally, over x-mas and all that prob put on about 6 lbs and have been pretty level since then, decided it was time to move that second half and was going to CD again but then came across Exante and so "started" that.....
I am prob not so keen and not as saintly as i should be but i don't care, i know the diet works and i can take the hit on it taking longer if i am not so honest to it. I just know its the trade off.

So i started on friday, and had a 100% day, and then saturday i decided to use two old CD bars i had around the place instead of two of the shakes, Sunday well yeah... i had my shakes but then munched some sweets and so decided to do a 3 mile run to make up for it. Monday - well that was 2 shakes and some more sweets, tuesday i think i had a shake a small piece of chocolate cake (don't ask!) and then yesterday i had my three shakes again. Today i have had one shake and some turkey and another 2 mile run, I realise this is not how this diet is meant to be done but i am a student revising for big exams and i need to munch stuff for revision - its my excuse! I have lost 6 lb so far this week. Obvs this isn't the best way to follow this diet and i will tighten up when studies aren't so bad but i don't mind, i know even at these times of munching randomly i am under a 1,000 a kcal a day by far and so i know i'm going to lose, i don't mind it might be only a couple of pound but idon't mind, i'm not really in a place to do the diet perfectly and i'm comfortable with that, i suppose thats why i wanted to write this mini essay!!!! coz i have posted a bit since joining and i guess i should show where i have been, i did my CD diet before and did the whole thing 100% for the whole time and it worked. If i had to be 100% now i wouldn't be here, i would have started in a weeks time so really i'm already a week ahead and 6 lb ahead! regardless of anything else:)
I don't care about ketosis, i suppose at the moment the diet is a template.
Oh yeah and as i have mentioned on a post or two i drink lots of tea and coffee during the day, all oh it with unsweetened soya milk (hardly any carbs in it at all). If i ended up staying the same at the end of the week i'd review my situation but i'm losing so it works!
 
Its about what makes you happy, and if following the diet your way works than do it, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm afraid I'm a purist of sorts, I couldn't have a little bit or I'd be a goner! but thats just me, I'm all or nothing or I fail.

edit: I didn't see you weren't having your 3 packs a day, this is a must so you get all your vits and minerals.

Sorry but no it's not about what makes you happy. By all means have some food but at the very least have your 3 packs a day. Having under 1000 food cals a day is completely different to having 3 packs plus food. You're going to make yourself really ill if you keep doing this

At the moment you're not in any way following Exante

Like i say i wrote this as i have commented a fair bit and i wanted to give some background on me, only fair i think. I know i'm not playing the game by the rules presently but i feel i am comfortable with how i am playing it.

I realise you are an experienced lass and am sure you have seen many come and go in your 4 and a half years tenure here and i respect that:) I am just planning to spend some time here whilst i get my self in shape, i'm not trying to create waves. merely just documenting my journey.
