Decided to play about a bit with some gelatine this evening and made a trifle type dessert without the sponge of course.
I made a mixed fruit jelly with sns water flavour and water poured it in 3 ramekins and left it to set 20 mins in fridge. Then made up a red fruit shake and made a mousse out of this only used 1/2 pack of gelatine as I didnt want this as firm as the jelly. Made this by cooling the gelatine water 200ml then made shake with stick blender which put lots of bubbles in it. Poured this on top of the jelly then fridge for half hour. Sprinkled a bit of water flavour on top which is like a sherbert topping.
It was like jelly and angel delight with a fizz kick. Amazing and I have 3 of them to eat over a day from one shake. I might cut a bar in half and have a trifle and a bar as one meal.
Could do it with any of the packs I was thinking of the crispy vanilla shake as a custard the crispy bits might make it more like trifle.
