Don't beat yourself up Flumpet, just take it that today was a day you did smoke, doesn't mean you have to do that tomorrow. Tomorrow can be a non-smoking day, just cos you fell off today or yesterday, doesn't mean you have to copy that tomorrow.
Perhaps attempting both is too much for you, or maybe it's not, you have some good health incentives there, perhaps you have to prioritise which is most important or beneficial, losing weight or stopping smoking and focus on that one for a little while then add in the other?
Good luck, think positive, you can do it, think of all the benefits and picture yourself as a slimmer, non-smoker, think of how you would spend the case you save not spending £7 a pack on fags, that's what made me stop in the end. I kept picturing the money I was wasting and hating that I didn't seem to be able to afford to do things and yet I always had to have fags...
