is it ok to have one now and again? ive had half of one today after not being able to stomach exante choc shake

They're not meant to replace an exante shake. They are also full of sugar so will kick you out of ketosis.

Blue Butterfly is right. They're best avoided. They're not a VLCD not TFR and are high in sugar and carbs etc

Umm... maybe try Slim and Save shakes? I love the choc one and I truly hate milkshake in the real world!

BB sometimes making the shakes different ways works. Have you tried it with sweetener or hot

Sorry sorry! I'm insane I think, I just like having new people to chat to! Starlight have you tried S&S shakes, is there a difference? I think S&S must be sweeter as I've never seen anyone advising use a sweetner.

I havent tried them I like the Exante ones. The Exante ones though are I think the only shakes not to have aspartame in them so by design they're not as sweet

thanks im glad i only had half of the superslim one then hope i havent done much damage

never heard of slim and save..choc milksake is usually my fave and the only milkshake i drink, shame the exante ones dont taste like mcdonalds ones

i tried it hot with sweetener and then added coffee but was still making me gag...i had vanilla the first day and that was lovely hot with coffee

No matter what VLCD youre on there'll be something you don't like. I couldn't drink the choc with coffee but I do like it hot with sweetener . It's just trial and error

Ohh the strawberry one nearly does!! If you make it with 150-200mls cold water, & shake it in a shaker with crushed ice. It comes out all frothy & thick..... yummy

This is definitely worth a try if you like McDonald's shakes! I love the strawberry shake anyway but made up with crushed ice it is just immense!

mmmm....I love the banana one made up with crushed ice!!! In fact, I that's the only way I make it up! The strawberry is lush too.....I like all the shakes made up with crushed ice!!!! lol
