Last week i cleaned out my shoe closet. My 15yrs old musty leather boots went straight into the garbage bag

I think if they're already musty, it's very possible they're harboring mold. For me, those old leather boots were unsanitary, gross stuff :sign0137: which should be burned in the local garbage incinerator.

I know I have favourite old clothes that have sentimental reasons for me as to why I don't throw them out.

If you can't bring yourself to part with them perhaps you could store them away somewhere in the attic?

Poor boots i can tell you love them really.
Mould is good & clean & healthy. It is also high in protein & carbfree.
so when you've licked them clean,give em a polish & lovingly award them pride of place in the front of your wardrobe.
