Veg and milk

Today I've had 3 shakes then tonight I had mac & cheese with 200g cauliflower/broccoli. My carbs are 66g so have chosen not to have milk :( I love a proper coffee in eve but it's got me worried.

I've read carbs should be upto 60g to stay in ketosis but if Slim and Save recommend 4 packs and optional milk and veg on top this is going to be 65-70g.

I know everyone has a different sensitivity to carbs but it's got me worried. I did first 10 days with only veg in one day until tonight. Should I not have the veg and track below 60g or see how my body copes for a couple of days?
Both hubbie and I really enjoyed dinner tonight and had hoped to have a meal pack and veg every evening now as that's they way we interpreted the plan. I wouldn't have been aware had it not been for MFP (great app :) )

Any thoughts, experience or advice is welcomed :)

Thanks guys xx

Personally I wouldn't be too worried if youre sticking to the S&S guidelines you should be ok. S&S aren't going to suggest amounts of carbs that will take us out of ketosis.

I think that if you are ultra sensitive to carbs it may affect you so I'd play it by ear. Personally I try to keep my carbs at around 60g per day and I do that by having the protein option instead of a 3rd pack but to be honest it might be that I could go all the way up to 70 odd grams and not kick myself out of ketosis. I've never really pushed it so I don't know. If you feel fine, not hungry and are still losing reasonable amounts then I wouldn't worry. If you start to feel like you've come out of ketosis then maybe scale the veg / milk back a little and see if that helps.

See how it goes. Also be aware of the carbs which are in the packs. The new spaghetti (for example) is over 20g of carbs! I try to keep below 60g but wouldn't be too stressed if it went a little over.

I've 'stepped up' from the normal S&S plan now and have around 800 calories so generally have 2 packs, a protein meal and other food but I keep within 60g of carbs (more or less). When I was 100% on plan before I stepped up I used to have 3 packs plus the protein meal. Sometimes I still have 3 packs plus 1 meal, it just depends what I fancy :)

Ahh right ok, thanks for explaining. I did think that having 2 packs and a 100g protein meal would be a bit extreme so had to ask
