Verucas

Has anyone successfully got rid of one of these *******?

I've had one on my big toe for years, I get it zapped by the doc but not very often, I guess if I started regular that may help but has anyone done anything to get rid of one? Especially an old one!

It hurts now and again and I can't wear heels very long anymore, that and I hate my feet now!

I haven't had verrucas for a long long time, but I have had a couple of small warts on my hands recently...I've been dabbing them with pure 100% tea tree oil which seems to be working. Might be worth a try :) It has anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties, so there's no reason why it might not work against the verruca virus

After doing a bit of a google search some people also seem to recommend a blend of lemon oil and tea tree oil rubbed into the verruca :)

Tea tree oil here I come!

I'll try anything!,,,,

I got rid of a plantar wart, which I understand is the same as a verruca, on the sole of my foot by sticking a "plaster" of duct tape over it. Google plantar wart duct tape. Basically I just put the tape on and left it on, changing it from time to time. It stayed on in the shower, in bed, 24 hours a day. It took a couple of months for the wart to disappear, but was completely painless and unnoticeable to others.
