Hi all, I have been doing SW for 5 weeks now and am just about getting to grips with it ( she types with fingers crossed!).
A bit of background (for those nosey like me!). As you you can see from the title I have just turned the mind-numbingly large figure of 40 and for the past 20odd years have been........FAT....
I am happily married with 3 teenage kids and am in my third (and last.. ) year of my BSc in adult nursing. Turning 40 and having to go for interviews and compete with all the younger graduates has kicked me into action for losing weight.
My progress so far:
Week 1 -- start weight of 14st 2lb
Week 2 -- -7.5 lbs
Week 3 -- - 4.5 lbs
Week 4 -- didnt weigh as was ill
Week 5 -- + 1lb !!!
Week 6 -- - 0.5 lb
After having a horrible few weeks I am back on track and hopeful of a decent loss this week.
I have recently moved to a new area where I know no-one :cry:so would really appreciate some company on here for mutual support and encouragement.
I look forward to getting to know a few of you soon and hope I am not talking to myself for too long lol xxx
