Hi everyone

I'm on SS and this is my third week. At my first weigh in I lost only 4 pounds and I was 100% SS. On my second weigh in, I lost only 2 pounds and I was again 100% SS. What am I doing wrong? I'm so disappointed. I feel like stopping the diet :( . Why am I not losing like everyone else is? Please anyone help me

Thank you

Hi znl. Don't give up! I have been on ss for first week, lost 6lbs and due to dizziness I then started ss+ and only lost 3lbs at weigh in last night. I too was hoping for a much bigger loss but when I look at all the inches I have lost too it all adds up and there is no quicker way to lose this weight. My cdc said that everyone's body adjusts differently and it may be that we will lose a consistent amount each week while others fluctuate.

Are you drinking enough water? I am having more than 2.25l as I have been told the more you drink the quicker the loss and less likely to retain water (which adds weight on).

I am still sticking to the plan until Xmas and if the losses don't get bigger will look into a fitness routine to shift the excess

Thank you for your response. It helped to get me motivated again. I drink at least 2.5 liters of water. I hope I keep dropping weight and it doesn't stop. My totm is almost here. Can that be contributing to the slow loss? What disheartens me is that I see people bingeing and still losing more than I am :/

hi there

the totm can make a huge difference to weight loss. i would say dont worry about what other people do. if you were in a race with an athlete you wouldn t mind coming second, so dont compare your body to other peoples when they can be so different. we all know that person who can eat til the burst and never put an lb on? even in diet land some can shift the weight quickly and other s take longer. you are doing nothing wrong, give it time ( i know we want it now!) and the results will come. your consultant should be able to offer some tips and you can phone them its all part of the package

Completely agree with the others, I've never lost quickly, it's pretty much always been 2lbs each week for me. But I've stayed with it and have seen a great result, it's just taken a little longer than otherpeople on here. I've gone from a size 16 to a size 14/12, I brought two new casual/jumper dresses today, one a size 14 and the other a size 12. I'm not focusing on the size 14, I'm just proud of myself for getting into a size 12! So stick with it, it will happen, I promise.
