The lean mean bonking machine showing his before picture and being ashamed of how he had allowed himself to put in so much weight was sad, but we all understand where he's coming from. And dont like to refere to her sexuality but I can't remember her name but the lesbian was so happy with the New her and I think her partner feeling a little left behind with her New found energy and mojo but her smile and sence of achievement was a little of how we feel on The Dukan Diet but without surgery xxx

Addictive watching for me as I can relate to all of them in every single way!!! Well about food anyway!!! It is definately not an easy fix, crazy to think that all they need to do to get the surgery is show a willingness to lose 10lbs and how much they struggle with that...... Know the feeling! Sometimes it is just sooooo hard..... I wish them all luck cos I know how miserable they are within themselves... Hard for the partners though too, when you don't like yourself you are often not very kind to your nearest and dearest and agree that feeling left behind when they get a new lease of life must be incredibly hard......

I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, what I particularly enjoyed was how surgery transformed all their lives.

It does seem a drastic way to lose weight, and in an ideal world they would have lost the weight by other means, but it's just not to be.

I did like the idea of a balloon inserted in the stomach, which seemed less invasive and something which is reversable which means once the weight has been lost they can get a 'normal' eating pattern. Whereas now with the surgery, they'll never be able to sit down & eat a big meal again, and isn't that something we all love.

Before I watch the programme I thought people who went through surgery were taking the easy way out, but now I've changed my mind & I can't wait for the next one.

BTW what made me laugh was when the surgeons were deciding who got surgery & who didn't, this was done whilst eating chocolate biscuits
