yogurt vs. milk

Can some one please help me understand why things like yogurt, framage frais and quark are free on plan yet skimmed milk isn't and has to be used as a healthy extra or syn'ed???

Thanks in advanced.

Because yoghurt and similar, as a standalone foodstuff is thicker, slower to digest and therefore more satisfying. You would have to drink significantly more milk in volume to achieve the same.

Ah ok. Thanks lickthelid :)

So how many syns would you count for the average amount of milk you would use in a cup of tea or coffee??

I love my cheese to much and like to use that for my heA.... plus I only really have one cup a day so would rather use my syns for that.

I see to recall its supposed to be half a syn per dash for tea or coffee? Tbh if I were only drinking 1 a day I wouldn't worry too much. :)
