Just packed kids & hubby off to football so I have peace for an hour & a half! Then I think we're heading out... may go & look at some kitchens (not that we can afford a new one) but our kitchen has also been the kids playroom & I want to reclaim some back, eitherside of the fireplace are some kids ikea units & I thought it would be nice to get some plain white kitchen units & then can shut puzzles, paints etc away so that it looks smart... I think my plans maybe thwarted when we see how much it would cost tho!!

Yeah I'm good thanks Hope, just not much to say being stuck indoors!! Am planning on getting behind the wheel today which will be fab & get me back into the swing of things! Tummy is feeling amazing can't believe I'm only 17 days out!! Hubby hid the scales yesterday so today is the first day since my op I've not weighed myself & its quite refreshing!
They predicted rain here today & its beautiful autumnal sunshine... long may it continue!!

Good to hear you're recovering well darling. That 17 days has flown by for me but I bet as you've not been able to drive it's dragged a bit.
We've got our kitchen units from Focus DIY just lately as they have a range that you can carry out and the prices are quite reasonable. Ikea seems a bit more pricey but you need to shop around a bit to find what you like (at the right price)

Good for you enjoy yr retail therapy, treat yourself & maybe a suprise treat for J when yr looking at lingerie?? Get yrself a good magazine & a fab place for a spot of lunch (before cd'ing again) & you'll have everyone second guessing what yr up to... a confident strong beautiful woman able to shop & dine by herself. xxx

Morning all...
Back to doing the school run again today, felt good to be out & about but not good to have everyone looking & whispering!! Felt a bit wobbly as I hadn't had brekkie before I went, so stocking up on a protein breakfast before I hit the dizzy heights of tesco's!
Had a lovely weekend been out & about shopping for my birthday present & I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited.. think I might have finally chosen the camera that I want! I did photography at A level & haven't really managed to keep it up but am determined that I shall get back into it again so what better excuse than to get a brand sparkly new camera... my old slr is the one I used for my A levels all those years ago.
How was everyone else weekend??

Bet the freedom now you're driving is fab!
I love taking photos, I have a digital bridge camera as haven't been able to justify the price of a DSLR yet as I have a film SLR that's about 6 years old and never gets used now that it's so tricky to get film and get them developed. I might be giving it to my youngest brother as he was telling me that he misses his old film SLR and at the moment it just sits in a cupboard so I'd rather he uses it.
