Morning all... thanks for popping by lovely to pop in & see all these lovely messages!!

Had a fabulous weekend... saturday was busy but a fab family day, tennis with Jakey, then dropped him down to the science centre for an afternoon with the beavers experimenting & looking at the amazing telescopes... we headed off to the fancy dress shop & got our outfits for our movie icons, gone with the wind it is!!! Headed home for lunch before going to pick Jakey up, then headed to pizza express as that was the kids treats for getting their stars this week.... came home just in time for our sainsburys delivery & started preparing the food for sunday. Got the burgandy stew on by 2200 & sat down with a glass of the red stuff!

Sunday was a lovely chilled day, was worried about the beef having been on for 16 hours by the time we ate but the fact everyone had seconds & some went for thirds was a good sign that it was tasty, horseradish dumplings were a winner!! Gooseberry crumble went down well too! Was a fab day with all the family, house was buzzing & my (french) BiL was very chuffed that he got to watch the rugby & that France won! Kids had the most amazing time but we were all very cream crackered by last night!

I've started Jillians 30 day shred this morning & LOVED it! Wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting but thanks to Vicky trialing it our for me, I knew what weights to use & to watch the girl in green.... feel very pumped this morning!

I am having to take a step away from Atkins unfortunately... last week was a real sign to me that my body can't function on it right now. So I'm going to be upping my carbs to 75-100g per day & see how I get on... keeping them all low GI carbs. The unfortunate thing is that I'm 2lbs up this morning from friday but have had a social weekend which won't have helped but I'm happy to have a gain but feel like me again!!

Hopefully getting back in control of my foods & doing Jillian daily will help with that!

you still are doing low carb though compared to what we are 'told' to eat so the weight should still shift. Just want you feeling good babe :)

I'm thinking some days will probably be lower than that too...

My plan is to copy you I think... 6 days of shredding, should be plenty, may try & get a swim in this week too! See how I'm doing. x

OMG the stew and dumplings sound divine!! (and the crumble).

I've looked at the Jillian DVD but it sounds like v hard work. Serious kudos to you for doing it :) xxx
 
If we can get past the French Linz, I think we are up for the grand slam
