Hi Hun
Wondered where you had dissapeared to from Fitness pal so came on here. See you have been busy. Hope the little man is fine I know how awful it is I have 4 kids, twins born early at 4lb 5 and 4lb 7 and very poorly but fine now aged 8 and huge with size 6 feet. Ane my baby Fred was born 9lb half an ounce 4 weeks early (thank god) and he has a heart condition. He was operated on at 12 weeks but things are still far from normal so I knwo how you and your family feel lots of love to you all

xx

Morning Linz, how are you? and how are mum and baby?

Thanks guys for all yr lovely messages... got to go visit the little man last night! He's actually the bruiser of special care & keeps setting off all the alarms as he's over acheiving!

He's had brain, heart & lung scans which have all come back clear, thank God! There will be a few weeks wait for the chromosone tests to come back but they were concerned by his facial features which gave indications of something....??? The specialist also said he'd never seen an umbilical cord like it.. it was incredibly long & like a corkscrew so they are doing tests on that!!

It was my privilage last night to be able to take my sister up in her bed to see her son, she'd not seen him since he was born & it was a beautiful touching moment to see them brought together again!! Little Solly had some cuddle time with his mummy out of his box!

My kids are itching to go & meet him especially after seeing the pictures, Jacob said ' he's named after Sully in Monsters Inc... did they not like the name Mike Wazowski then??' Amalie has decided that the baby's name is Cinnamon so poor soul isn't yet a day old & my kids have already re-named him!!

Hi Guys

Had a real wobble this week, heads been all over the place & the old demons reared their ugly heads & I didn't have the strength to resist, the carbs hit me hard this time & I was stupid enoough to think that b'coz I've had odd moments off plan & gone back with no worries that this time would be the same BUT it wasn't... I have really struggled to get back on track so 4 days of carbed meals have resulted in an 8lb gain on the scales & me feeling really crap!!!!

There does appear to be a pattern occuring that at the start of the month I have a blip (after weighing in) & then spend my next 2 weeks clawing the weight back. Need to remedy this somehow!

The reason I'm writing this is in the hope that it will help someone else stop making the same mistake that I did... even if you've got right back on track several times after having a 'blip' its not always that easy & carbs are evil & can hit you hard!!

Stay in control, keep your food interesting & be prepared & that will help you stay strong & remained focused on that end goal!!

And on a lighter note... off to see my Sis & Solly later, he's doing well is out of special care & in the nursery, has come off of all his wires but has had to have a feeding tube as his blood sugars have dipped quite low BUT in the whole scheme of things that is truly amazing!

Solly got to meet his big brother yesterday & the normally boistrous Noah was very gentle & affectionate, whispering so that he didn't wake any of the tiny sleepy babies!

Off to have a fry up for brekkie... no wii fit this morning am knackered, think Atkins flu is kicking in as I have a cracker of a headache too, a little snooze while the kids go to football is in order!

That's great news Linz, you could tell he was a fighter just by looking at him :D
Send us some more pics when you have them hun xx

Oh Linz,
Its been an emotional week for you anyway. You can get back to it hun, and as you say, this is a blip. They happen, its when they turn into life that the problems start.
Hope you feel better later.
xx

Great post Linz, thanks. And fantastic news about your little "cinnamon", sorry but thats just too cute.
