I can live Christmas eve right through to the 3rd of jan!!!! But for now I will have no life :giggle: mind you I'm still not giving up my wine this weekend! I have too much celebrating to do! :p

Thanks Jan, i agree, its a learning curve, i will learn not to put weight back on after all the effort and money ive spend to get to 10 stone lol. im back into jogging and interval training so i should be back on track properly as soon as xmas is over.

Tanya, about the jogging eating thing, one explanation is that as you're training, you're building more muscle mass, which is denser than fat. So while that may translate to an overall weight gain, your body fat percentage has decreased and you're more toned than you were before.

Another explanation is that your body is learning to store carbohydrates as fuel for your long runs. The fuel stores are important to completing your long runs and marathon without hitting a wall, but you may see a couple extra pounds on the scale on certain days. Your body also requires additional water to break down and store the fuel, so that will also add extra weight. Also, you may have been increasing your calorie intake without realizing it. During marathon training you need a high intake of protein, less carbs, in order to lose weight as well as tone your body. I have done 3 marathons and my cousin is a personal trainer who also did the marathons with me and with me having high protein and very low carb i still lost weight even though i built muscle mass, where as my cousin had high carb and low protein as he didnt want to lose weight, only build muscle. dont be too hard on yourself as your body will be getting much more toned which is a good aspect. lots of luck on your marathon hun xxx

Thanks pink :) I'm training for only a 1/2 marathon and i dont think my food and training is enough at the minute to use that excuse but i'll bear it in mind :giggle:

Am sooo late today girls i've got a 12hours shift starting at 6 and i didnt get up till 4! :eek: So quick update on here then i will catch up with your threads in my breaks :)

Slush fund = 6pp used today 43pp left

I was! Untill my manager sent a tin of heroes around the team, of which 3 jumped out, unwrapped themselves and ended up in my mouth :doh:

HaHa ... oh alright - you can keep it ;) I'm trying hard for it tomorrow though! Mind you I'm having a filling at 9.20am so there shouldn't be an issue about having anything before I go to bed! xx

My training this weekend has been cancelled due to the bad weather we are supposed to be getting. I'm angry and sad at the same time. I'll be even more raging if this stupid weather doesnt arrive. :cry: :mad: :cry: :mad: :cry:

All i want to do now is scoff my face, anger is no good for the figure!:giggle:

I wondered if that was what had happened when I saw your status on FB! Oh honey it's not fair!! You were sooo excited about it and you've worked so hard for it - it's not right! I've just said on Bev's thread - things are getting cancelled/disrupted and the flippin' weather hasn't even arrived yet!! It just doesn't seem right :(

Don't let it make you scoff though hon - that'll only make you feel 10 times worse! xxx Lotsa ***hugs*** xxxxx
