♥ ~ Tanya's Maintainence Diary ~ Year 2 ~♥

Stop fretting woman, enjoy yourself. Your right, no point buying more when you've tones left in the cupboards& freezer.

Thankfully all the ice has thawed now. Dont really feel like running though :( that is bad. I should be out there!

I had bubble and squeak last night........well not officially, but I used up the 4 small potatoes, carrots, green beans and some Turkey, and I bl**dy well enjoyed it.

I was quite good over Xmas Jan, but I picked all day in work yesterday, all the bl**dy goodies around here are ridiculous.

All those flippin' goodies hey!

Just been for a 2mile run. It's hammering rain out there so I came back looking like a panda, that'll teach me to run in the rain wearing mascara! :p Felt ok running. Stopped twice for no more than 10secs total just to sort out my headphone (dad bought me some running ones for xmas & theyre pink!!!!! ;)) and to change the track.

Me & my friend went to one of the Tanner Brothers restaurants last night. The food was divine and I am very very impressed with it. Pics are of the food we had, not sure if yous are interested but put em up anyways hehe We both love trying out new restaurants so were guna aim for a new one every 2months, money dependant. Were trying to plan to go to Michael Caines Michellen (sp?) starred restaurant up on dartmoor :fingerscrossed:

Going to document food but its not going to be pretty! :p

The food looks lovely Tanya, really nice. I would be interested in the prices they are charging too though. I have never really eaten in one of these type of restaurants, I usually go for the full plate full type of restaurants..............lol, I would still be hungry after these small portions.

Mary you will be surprised! I paid £15 for the 3 courses last night!
But we went at 5pm and that 'special menu' is on mon-fri 5-7pm we didn't know that till we got there so I had in my head i'd be spending about £40! There was only 3 options in each the starter, main and desert but we had no problem chosing from either.

We got given the full menu too and starters were roughly £7/8 mains were anything up to £30 and deserts were roughly the same as the starter.

Not saying I wouldnt like it, but I would begrudge to pay £30 for a main course, comprising of a little bit of chicken, tiny bit of mash, decoration of green.........lol.

Call me tight haha.

Oh god Mary that main wasn't £30. It was the seafood options that were the most expensive. Xxx

Actually Tanya that good value compared to over here! We have two Michelin starred restaurants here and a third, Marco Pierre White's is supposed to open in the New Year. You are unlikely to get any change out of £100 each and that's before wine! Jersey prices are similar to London, thank god for expense accounts:D

I am looking forward to NYE, I still dont know what we are doing, but even if it is just Phill, Maisey and myself at home, I will still enjoy it. I love the build up to the bells at midnight.
