Thursday

Scales show same as yesterday least haven’t gained after that burger .

Not sure what I fancy today goin try Lidl in abit il risk it see what it’s like. I will have go to another shop tho to get the things they don’t sell so will prob work out about the same we will see .

I might get some bread and have crusty cheese cobs for dinner
 
Good morning hun,

I use lidl when I'm holiday sometimes as there is a really big one nearby. The fresh bread and pastries are amazing. We always get all the meat from there for the bbq and have always found it really good. I've never been in one in the UK though but think they are the same all over. I sometimes use aldi, I can't do a full shop there, the fruit and veg is really good. I would definitely do a food plan before you go. I do a weekly plan, have it written in the bottom corner of my shopping list. It keeps me on track as I'm going round the supermarket :)

Well done on not getting a gain from yesterday, that's fab. So where are you now, compared to last weekend when you weighed in?

OMG crusty cheese cob sounds lush but would need onion as well :)
 
Ye I’m going to give it a go. Got fruit from there before seemed to be ok. The main supermarkets have gone down hill I think I’m fed up of gettin blueberries and raspberry that go mingin within 2 days that I have to bin them.

Done my food plan on track for next week. Since starting this job I have been having my dinner at dinner time which is good for weight loss but not really a routine I want to get into. He’s bck to being home for 4.10 now so goin start and do tea for 4.45 and I leave at 5.15. I don’t really have that much on my plate now anyway so il be fine .

I was 16.12 1/4 last sat I’m now 16.12 3/4 so half a pound left to loose. I’m on a mission tho to see a loss aswell even if it’s 1/4 .

I'm with you now, so so half a pound to lose. I reckon if you're super good today and tomorrow, you'll easily get that and might even get back in the 1lb club :)

It takes a while to get into a new routine doesn't it. Could you try just having snacks through the day and then your main meal at 4.45? I've stopped having anything in the day now except for snacks, unless I know it's going to be an extremely long day and then I'll have a shake. My snacks for today are a bag of 42 calorie popcorn, cuppa soup 60 calories, banana 80 calories and a bag of lentil curls 90 calories. hen I'll have dinner tonight. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and it's working well for me, I'm not getting really hungry.

Ye surpose I could give it a try it’s just I get hungry. It’s things like when we go out Olivia will want lunch so I have it aswell. I think if I was in the house would be fine doin that as would Just split them up. I think I need to just get into having my 500 for lunch again that worked well . I don’t surpose it really matters as long as I make sure have 1300 a day. Some days I’m not hungry and other it’s like I haven’t eaten for a week. Goin to look for some cup a soups while out aswell uv just reminded me . I think if it was just me would be a lot easier. She starts nursery in aug but guess what she’s home at 12 😂

I keep my snacks to around 100 calories, so I can have a small wrap with chicken as one of my snacks and then a bag of crisps or popcorn. That would be 2 snacks but could be counted as lunch :)
 
Ye so ur basically doin same as me on a normal day. I normally have a wrap and crisps if not goin out then tea at night. If at work will skip the tea and have bigger lunch.
 
Just got back from Lidl quite impressed actually. Not sure what the quality will be like but will give it a go . Put in everythin of my list and extras like cakes of bakery for these pair while I’m at work lol. Plus he wanted beer and needed washing capsules Olivia choose a book and total was £57. Normally if I take a list to Morrisons it’s between £80/£90. Like I say just depends on the quality. I liked how did some branded things like crisps and also washin capsules wouldn’t buy the cheap ones because of Olivia.

Iv picked up a chicken pasta salad 530 cals but also had a cheese twist so that’s me done for the day food wise. Wanted cobs but was hungry so couldn’t wait untill I got home

I think I'm a bit lower calorie than you. I try to stay within 300 calories a day during the day, I don;t have breakfast. If I have a wrap, I have a small asda one which is 90 calories and a small amount of chicken and call it 100 calories.

Yum, I love lidls fresh baked cobs. I'm really hungry now...you're not helping, lol! I can't buy cheese twists because I'd eat the whole packet, they are my weakness, lol.
 
Ye you have a lot less cals for day tho aswell don’t you. I’m a chunk need my 1300 lol

I started off with about 1100 - 1200 a day, sometimes going down to 1000 but now I am between 900 - 1000 a day. I'm choosing my foods really carefully though, so not hungry at all. For example if i have a chicken wrap (100), bag of popcorn (40) and a cup a soup (60) that will see me through the day and it's only 200 calories but it's really filling and I feel like I've had a lunch :)
 
Sorry lol I felt same when I was in there. No it was a big one off the bakery was lovely. I ate pasta first and I was full didn’t need the twist but I thort il just try it and it kind of dissapeared lol

OMG I know the ones you mean. They are to die for...I had one on holiday last year. I'm now drawling, lol!
Dinner seems a long way off. I'm at work till quite late and need to go shopping, so probably wont be ho,e until about 8. Luckily I'm only doing chicken naan, so won't take long to cook.
 
Ye it’s all about what you choose isn’t it. Your doin brill to survive on those calories. I’m having higher just because it makes it easy for me especially when I’m out. I litrely eat what everyone else does which works really well for me. I’m sure if I was at work all day tho I’d be like you take low things for my lunch break .

Who knows over time I may drop my amount but at the min I’m doing ok . As long as I’m loosing it’s all good. I’m a lot bigger than you so my body is used to a lot more food. I feel if I was to drop now I’d get annoyed and feel sorry for myself and think oh stuff it I’m having it. Sticking as I am for the time being it’s working

I think because I've not long been back from my holiday, I'm still liking chicken naan and chilli. I did a chilli bowl last week and it was gorgeous, so might do that again at the beginning of next week.

That's what I'm hoping.
I'm going away for 6 weeks in the summer and normally I gain around 10lbs. I do a lot of walking but drink like a fish, so that's normally where the weight comes from. I'm hoping this year will be different because I'm not drinking so much and my stomach has shrank.
